Hey peeps! It's been awhile since I posted on the other board, but maybe some of you remember me.  I was always an incarnation of Momma, I have a DD who lives in NYC and works in fashion and another DD who is an athlete.  I have been lurking over there for awhile, and couldn't get back on...so excited to post here!

To catch up ... 

We moved to Minnesota last year so DH could take a job at a boarding school (where DD now attends). He was promoted this year, and while he has more responsibility, he has more control so he is much happier. 

DD in NYC is loving being a single girl in the big city. She is the hipster Carrie Bradshaw. This spring she went to London by herself for a week and had a blast. She is coming to visit us next week, and I can't wait! 

DD in Minnesota turned sweet 16, is enjoying sports and the boarding school life, recently got her braces off (and I just made the final payment !) and recently visited Los Angeles where she had her pic taken with David Borneaz (her celeb crush and some of yours as well!). 

I left Target and took a job in sales with Hershey. I LOVE my job and it has removed so much stress from my life - thus the name. I am so much calmer and mellow, my family is always kidding me about it. 

Anyway...it's great to be back. I can't guarantee how much I will be able to post, but I will be here lurking. Since I have a regular schedule now, I travel a lot with DD's team and I don't post from my phone (too small for these eyes).

Karl - the weather last winter wasn't too bad. It got quite cold, but not a whole lot of snow. This year it's supposed to be worse. no

Flan! Lovely to see you again! How is Indiana ? I have to say, it wasn't my favorite place to live - WAY too conservative where I lived - but I do miss some fab people there!

I must say, it was frustrating reading about "the new board" and not seeing a link! As soon as it was reposted, I saved it! I wanted to scream " how is anyone supposed to find it if you don't post the link!!!" It was super frustrating.

Glad to be here and glad to see people coming over slowly.

I'm happy to see you and several others here now. When I post something on both boards, I'm pleased to see different people responding and commenting.
