For newbies and lurkers - What is this board and why is it here?

For those of you who are new here, the traffic may seem slow.  The reason is simply because this is a back-up board to Geek Table, and it's purpose is to make sure we have a home that will allow new members, etc. when the time comes.

Those of us on Geek Table are stilling hoping that our missing admin will return, and we've set the date for January 1st as our official move in the event that he does not. 

We are enjoying the new members here who have not been able to join Geek Table, and we hope for even more! 

Welcome to all of you!
