It's a pretty morning. Going to go give my car a bath. I have those weather tech floor liners so I need to pull them out and give them a good scrubbing too. In two weeks at this time I will be sitting on the beach in Fort Meyers!
Well drat. My mom has decided she's making chili for lunch. I like chili, but I don't like *her* chili. She's the only person I know that makes brothy chili. It's like tomato soup with ground beef and beans thrown in. I hate tomato soup. Oh, and green peppers. She uses green peppers. Can't stand cooked green peppers. BUT I will be polite. I will eat it. And I will loath every bite.
So, VETTE, I was sooooo excited and then sad on Friday. We were at Dollywood and we were in this shop and it had a shirt that actually said "Vette Girl" in pretty sparkly letters. And I was going to buy it for you, and I picked it up and it was a KID'S T-shirt. Grrrrrrrr. I just had to share my disappointment.

I am so in need of a new phone! Mine has decided it only wants to ring maybe 20% of the time. Or maybe less. It doesn't show a missed call, the only way I know is a voicemail pops up. So I have no idea how many people call without leaving a message. Piece of crap

No, I got the camera. I was going to get a phone, but the iPhone 6 was coming out soon, and is out now, so I waited on the phone. I will be getting a new phone soon, I'm on the family's corporate plan, so one of my parents has to go with me.
I'm freaking out! I was just on the website for the hotel that I am staying in when I go to Fort Meyers. Since I booked the room it has gotten a lot of bad reviews. Mainly because the hotel is in the middle of a remodel and apparently there is a loud night club there. I am not a happy camper, I do not want to be kept up all night listening to people party. Also, there are security cameras on the balconies. That tells me there are either a lot of room break ins or a bunch of crazy drunk people. I'm only staying two nights and it is close to my sister's time share. I can't stay with her because it is a small 500 foot efficiency. They do have a room open there but they won't rent it to me for just two nights unless the unit hasn't rented within a week of check in. Keep your fingers crossed that the unit doesn't rent by Saturday and I can get it.
I will be there early for check in and tell them (nicely) that I have seen a lot of bad reviews about the noise and may I please and thank you have a room far away from the festivities.

I didn't realize you were that close! It was a whirlwind trip, though. We met some friends there and we were only there 2 days.
