This is a pretty long article so you will want to click the link to read it. But, what are your thoughts about this? I think everyone is a bit too hysterical about it personally.
We do not have the freedom with this kind of thing. It ALWAYS comes back to haunt you later in life.
And why do that to yourself? Why devalue yourself and turn yourself into an object?
I don't have a problem with a husband and wife being sexy with each other.
But our kids need to learn to respect themselves and each other.
I care because I want my kids to care. And I want their friends to care. I want them all the care about themselves.

Because we are ALL living our lives online. if u want to search my voluminous online postings to take something out of context then be my guest. There isn't going to be anyone to hire who doesn't have an online or texted life. And someone who isn't online or using technogy is probably a dinosaur.
Yeah dont text anatomy shots. But have some drunken college pics , who cares?

I am more of a mind that you don't put anything out there that could e misconstrued. No drunk pics, no naked shots, nothing that you don't want representing you for the rest of your life.
Think about it like this.
If you die right now, is the picture you have as your avatar, profile pic or last text, or post want to be the last image or thought you ever leave? Is that what you want remembered by?
Not saying anything is wrong with what you have I don't mean you as in your particularly. You as in general you.

The young lady who was killed in the car crash a few months ago changed her FB profile pic the day she died.
She changed it from a pic of her and a friend shooting birds to a pic of her and her mom and dad. She died that afternoon.
It may not mean a thing.
But I wouldn't want the last pic of me to be something crass like shooting birds.
Yes. Your family will know you. But what will you leave for them?
All I am saying is that we are no longer anonymous. Everyone can see us.
The way we present ourselves to the public is important. No matter much you argue it isn't.

I can guarantee that my family will not be petty enough to judge me on my last profile pic. Although it is a rather fab pic and I wouldnt mind if they used it in the obit.
Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter.
Another thing that doesnt register with me as being worthy of my worry.
