Babies bare bottom in a diaper commercial. It was always girls that were shown, back in the day.

Now they don't show naked babies anymore.

Rotary phones

Party lines

Candy cigarettes

Penny candy

Real country music

Drive in movies (they are few and far between. We use to have 2 in our town now you have drive 2 hours to get to the closet one)

Government cheese. (Dad bought it from a guy that would come in where dad worked. It was the best cheese.)

The sole was higher in the front than the back. It was supposed to be a good work out for your legs. Dang, they were ugly!wink

I wear Earth shoes! Wal-Mart carries them.

I like them. The pair I have now I have had for 4 years. They are still in good shape. Well except where a young Mr. Monster decided that one of them no longer needed the decorative stones.

We used to record the country music awards on a tape recorder. Listened to them from on year to the next. We still have ciggie vending machines in Nashville.

Mine are not.

None of mine have been.

Are we talking about the same Earth Shoe?

Mine are like this but the design on the top is different.

I'm talking about the original Earth shoes, from the 70's.

Yes they do. I think there was some thing a year or so ago about it being pink because baking isn't just for girls

Final Net Hair spray.

Do they still make Aquanet? I went through a bajillion cans of that in the 80s. Well until Aussie hair spray came out.

Telephones where you picked up the ear piece, and a lovely voice responded "Operator" and you gave her a 3 digit number.

Modess . . . because
(loved those fancy dresses)

Montgomery Ward catalogue - even better than the Sears Roebuck one!

I have these.  But your set is missing the inner orange ring.

I still have an original Bakelite rotary phone that is plugged in and works.  Actually, we have two of them.  One in the living room and one in the garage (not Bakelite).

We still have a jar of the Mercurochrome  I would not use it but we have it.

We go to the drive in movies near my brothers.  There are still 3 there that have not gone dark.  http://www.drive-ins.com/

I make my own pudding pops.  Use 1.5 cups of milk instead of the 2 cups to make pudding.

I still get my milk in glass jars from the Amish market.

I miss regular old math with numbers.  Not whatever they are trying to teach now.  I have had enough of algebra, sets, logic and statistics (haven't started this one yet).
