Morning NJN and Tig!

Up with insomnia. Dang it!

I guess I'll make the best of it by upping the post count.

Have a great day!

NJN, I think VoR, SB and LL will not be pleased at your latest achievement.

But congrats!

I'm just trying to stay on the first screen of the user directory.

You matter, Tig! Always!

I think, just to shake things up, there should be a prize for lowest post count.

Well I am out of bed for the time being.

C is taking the boys to school for me.

I am going back to bed as soon as I can.

We have DOUGHNUTS! Got them yesterday on the way home. They were hot and warm then.

Husband is off to school and I have a list as long as my arm.

Laundry, kitchen, dusting, phone calls, planting winter grass, and floors. I'm tired looking at my list.

Good morning, Good Geeks. I'm going to call my tree guy and get an appt. for him to look at Conor's tree. Trying to decide if we'll have it pruned, or take it down.

Other than that, I will probably start teaching Jessi how to do yard work. She has lived in an apartment most of her life, so she has never learned how to do it.

Have a great day everyone.

Still strongly dislike people at work. But I will say the batches did have some of their antics bite them in the butt today.

Already had a customer show up early to pick up their order. Have one embroidery head out of commission waiting on a part that I had in reserve in my tool kit. Said part is missing, only three people would even know or care about it, one is me, the other two are service techs who have been in my shop over the past 3 or 4 years. So now I have to wonder which one is a thief. It's a small part, but costs $100, which in the grand scheme of things isn't a big deal, but as it is, this machine would be up and running this morning. Now it is out of commission til at least Wednesday. Color me pissed off. Looks like I am going to be looking for a new tech (in addition to locking up my stuff when I can't watch them.)

Spent most of the weekend over at the new shop, trying to vacuum up construction debris, and prep the back receiving area concrete floor for paint.

We had a fire drill at work first thing this morning. Once the building was cleared we had to stand out in the chilly weather to watch a demonstration on using the fire extinguisher. Ugh.

Yeah, we used to have the high rise building drills when I worked in downtown LA.  They made everyone evacuate, floor by floor.  We worked with deaf and disabled, so we got the added benefit of those nasty strobe light alarms.

On some of the other floors, there would always be some big fat cat important executive who didn't want to take the time to do the drill, and would try to hide under their desk.  Fire Marshall would always catch them, and not only did they make them leave, they also got a fat fine!biggrin

When he passes, he starts driving. We're getting closer to going home!

My wonderful Monday has included getting the president of my company lost in Pennsylvania. He called for directions. His assistant didn't pick up, so it rolled over to my phone (which it's not supposed to do). I googled where he was going, gave him directions. He calls back because he's lost. I don't know where he is and proceed to get him further lost while trying to figure it out. There is a really bad connection, and then the call dropped. So now he's lost AND mad.

Did I mention I'm not supposed to get the phone calls? There are 4 people ahead of me in line, and I know 2 of them were at their desks. Lazy people annoy me

We bought new when we moved across the country, most of it was pretty beat up after the kids moved out, not worth the money to haul it!

When are you moving!?

Well I have had an interesting day.

A called said he was sick, he hasn't felt good for a while, so I pick him up and take him to the doctor.

2 hours later we are sitting in the drive thru at the pharmacy and I turn the car off cause it is going to be a little bit and when I go to start it again. It wont.

So C had to come get us. I have been back home for about 30 minutes now.

Thankfully the pharmacist was the kind of guy who came out and helped A push the van. I love our pharmacist. He's awesome.

Dad is going to try to bring the van home.

I am having some of the cotton candy the kids brought home from the fair the other night. Yeah I know it isnt good for me.

One more jar in the frig. DD will eat that one up in a day or two.
