DD went for a GYN check up today and had to fill out a questionnaire which basically was asking questions to screen for Ebola. I could see if she were visiting the doctor for an illness but this was just the annual visit.
Took A to the doctor today and there were signs every where saying if have been in contact with anyone from West Africa and showing symptoms of... and it listed the symptoms.
I can see the point. I'd rather be proactive than reactive.

I agree. And putting an Ebola Czar in place who has no medical background makes no sense at all, unless he's a huge campaign contributor.
I'd rather see someone like Norman Schwarzkopf be in charge.

I believe they took two passengers off a plane in Chicago last night. Full isolation gear for transport used. Both had been in contact with the nurse that flew on a plane last week.
I may have misunderstood, since I was half asleep this morning when I heard it on the news.

I have received numerous emails and letters from my sons' principal about Ebola, the symptoms, and protocol should anyone come down with a fever, symptoms, etc.
They are supposed to be doing the temps before boarding. And when they get off the plane.
I think they should have to sit in quarantine for 21 days BEFORE boarding. But that's just me.
I do think there is a level of panic that needs to be toned down. But I also understand it.
My state is one of 5 where the incoming flights are to come to. The Atlanta Airport.
I gotta say it doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

This is crazy. Some of the African nations have basically closed their boarders to areas where there is Ebola. The quarantine and screen big time. And the US is afraid to stand up and do this as well. We are such pansies!
