Our dogs hate thunderstorms.

The only thing that helps a little is to take them in the bedroom with me & turn on the TV.

Today I am helping my mom and my BFF make shower favors. I don't think officially I am supposed to be helping but I'm glad to have something to do today.

It sure was a wild and windy night around here as well. The wind pretty much stripped all the leaves from the trees and lot's of branches down. Hoping everyone is safe and dry today.

Sounds like that tree needs to be trimmed Blankie. We had a tree fall on our house several years ago. My brother, dad and I were in the living room watching the weather on TV and my kids were in the den playing. I was standing in the door and could see from the living room across the dinning room and into the den.

I hear and feel this big thump and dad and my brother both jump and that is when I realize that thing I am seeing is tree.

It landed crossways right over the kids. If it had fallen straight it would have crashed all the way through on them.

I still get a knot in my stomach thinking about it. You better believe I have done a whole lot of thanking God for protecting my kids.

Storms don't affect Monster or Spot. Unless it is extremely bad they just sleep through it.

Squeaks, I don't see a problem with helping putting things together. I helped address the invitations to mine. If it is something we shouldnt do I guess we can be bad shower people together.

Cant wait to crawl back into bed this morning. I need more sleep.

Other than that it is going to be a great day.

I'm taking my grand doggy to the Vet for a recheck at 10:20. We'll ask for an estimate to get the growth on his leg removed.

And with any luck, he'll be able to lose the "cone of shame". biggrin

I hope everyone got through the storms okay. Light rain here, but we are supposed to have a sunny afternoon.

We are making little bags. theyre light light blue and pink and we have little whales to put on them and ribbon. We are filling them with candy. We have other stuff too.

Have to take Sam to the vet this morning. DD found a round hairless spot on him last night. We really do not need ringworm!!!

Baby boy woke up at 5 am and only wanted me. When I took a shower he head butted the door until my husband let him in the bathroom. Go Thursday!

With twin boys and no locks on my bathroom doors, showers were never just for me. I have taught them now to knock first and wait for me to say it's okay to enter. But has been fairly recent.

I'm on the doxy for long term use. I was on another antibiotic and my platlets bottomed out. They had to take me off of it. This one seems to actually work better for my skin condition but it also causes GI upset. Most of the time I can keep it under control. Yesterday I ate salad. Probably not one of the brightest ideas. But it was good.
