Yay! Belle the 64 is my favorite body style! My screen name used to be VetteGirl64 but I dropped the 64 because people thought that was my age (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Two in the right-front, next to each other, one on their laps, the rest in the "back", sitting on the front edge of the "trunk", feet .... I'm trying to remember.
It certainly wasn't safe, and he drove pretty slowly.

My cousin's husband had a vette before they got married. A sting ray I think it was.
The new ones are pretty.
I am a mustang girl myself. 64 1/2 would be my dream. Or Eleanor. But the 64 1/2 is the one that made my palms sweat and heart race at 16. It was amazing. Candy apple red. White interior. Horses on everything. She had her top down. Sexy.

The company that made them started with a new Corvette, carefully removed the body and the interior (which they sold for a lot more than they'd paid for the new car), then put on a hand-made 4 seat interior, and fiberglass body. WAY COOL !!!
Except that, the drive chain was that of an 18 year old Corvette, and GM wasn't building things to last much more than the factory warranty.
It was a great car to drive!

Vette, since this is your thread I just wanted to tell you that my doggies, all three of them, LOVE my dog biscuits. They get so excited when I get the ziplock bag down and open it up. Carlee runs in the kitchen and wags her tail so hard she knocks all of SS's little magnetic letters off the fridge. You always know when she's had a snack because the floor will be full of letters.

Goodie. more doggy biscuits to make. I told HM I am sending Honey some. Carlee is a pig. Layla is so polite. Layla sits and waits till you give it to her and then she very nicely takes it from your hand. Carlee and Hemi? Uh no. You better watch the hand or they'll take your hand with it. Carlee routinely steals food out of Layla's mouth.

had a '71 a '90 and a '94--liked them all but moved on to imports--have long believed them to be way undervalued ( especially in the last 5 or 6 years )--the '15 is a bona fide supercar--with a prancing horse or a bull badge on the hood they'd easily be $250k plus

One of the funniest things I have ever seen was a couple of 70 somethings trying to get out of what was apparently their new corvette.
They got out and come in and barely could move. He bought it while they were traveling. I bet they sold it as soon as they could.
