Amazon is smarter than we are

I am finding that Amazon is getting much smarter.  Or, maybe I am just paying attention.  For instance, I was looking up an item.  And, I found it for $39.  I clicked on it, didn't add it to my cart.  Well, the next day, I checked for it again.  And, lo and behold it was $29!  I thought that was a pretty good deal, so I put it in my cart but didn't order it.  A couple days later, it was no longer available and I googled and found the same thing  for now $55!  I think the computer just follows your patterns or whatever.  Also, have you noticed that if you are Prime member, the Prime items cost more than if you search without Prime.  Not always but it is something I am noticing.

Are you getting the prices from the same sellers?

My husband has prime, I don't. Usually we shop under my log in and order under his. We haven't noticed price differences.

My Prime membership is up in Nov. The cost to renew is $99. I do buy a ton of stuff though. But, I could wait for the Super Saver shipper thing too as I don't need stuff ASAP usually.

Have you considered adding your account to his prime? You can have up to 4 (I believe) family members attached to a single Amazon Prime account.
