Um, it's not Halloween yet. It's not till Friday. I'm ready though. Kind of ready for it to be over. Halloween isn't my favorite holiday. When I was a kid we used to sing this song... H A Double L O Double U Double E N spells Halloween! It taught me to spell it so early. Every time I write Halloween I silently sing the song to myself.

I have women's group tonight. I made banana bread and lemon bars. Tomorrow I just have to grab them and go.

The 31st Karl. Always the last day of the months. I'm sticking a lemon bar in an envelope. Postmarked Japan...

Must be one of those Canadian things having Halloween before the US has Halloween, you know, like they beat us to the punch on Thanksgiving.

Grrrr, the raccoons stole my pumpkin! I haven't had in pumpkin in years. At DN wedding on Saturday, she used oodles of pumpkins for decorations. As a cleanup helper, she asked me to farm out the pumpkins, so I kept a couple. When I got home, I fixed one in my wagon of flowers. Now muddy raccoon prints are all over the wagon and my pumpkin is gone. I hope it gives the raccoon a tummy ache for stealing my pumpkin. 🎃

DE, I'm laughing about the raccoon, too - darned little glutton!  I wonder if you'll see part of your pumpkin in pieces somewhere...

I remember getting the Penny's and Sear's catalogs. We loved those things. They marker the real beginning of the Christmas season and the second you touched it Santa knew.

I need to get the Disney princess movies. C wants them all for Christmas.

I know the basic 5
Snow White
Sleeping Beauty
Cinderella
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast.

Then there is

Repunzel
The Princess and the Frog

But are there others? Is Mulan a princess movie? Was Brave a Disney movie?

Brave is THE best Disney princess movie - my favorite - the story is about her and her mother.  She don't need no man!

Rapunzel is awesome, too, but the movie is called "Tangled".

Mulan is considered a princess movie, as is Pocahontas, even though she is not technically a "princess".

That's right Tangled.

What is the Disney movie club?

I couldn't remember if Brave was Disney or another. I liked Brave too.

I forgot about Jasmine. Thanks.

And I guess I need Frozen.

I am not doing the sequels.

So that is how many? 10?

I am going to get 5 of them but her brothers are going to get some for her.

She may have to wait on some of them.

Disney movie club - get 4 movies for $1 now, plus a 5th for $15, plus a 6th for $10, and then agree to buy 5 movies over the next 2 years at regular price.   If you buy the 5th for $15, it counts as one of the 5.

Terms and Conditions

As a Disney Movie Club member, all you need to do is buy 5 movies at regular Club prices in the next 24 months (starting at $19.95 per DVD and $29.95 per Blu-ray for a member who joins under a DVD enrollment offer or starting at $29.95 per DVD and $29.95 per Blu-ray for a member who joins under a Blu-ray enrollment offer), plus shipping and processing of $3.95 for the first title in each order, and $1.49 for each additional title in that same order. You may cancel your membership at any time after purchasing the 5 movies.

By agreeing to purchase at least 5 regular-priced movies in the next 24 months, you qualify to receive 4 Disney Movies of your choice from the list of titles currently available from the Disney Movie Club for $1.00 Total. Shipping and processing is free. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your first shipment.

YOU MAY ALSO TAKE A 5TH MOVIE NOW AT THE SPECIAL PRICE OF JUST $14.95. PLUS YOU PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE. This Bonus Movie will even count towards your purchase commitment, so you'll only need to purchase 4 more movies in the next 24 months instead of 5.

PLUS YOU CAN SAVE EVEN MORE by selecting a 6TH movie NOW FOR the special price of JUST $9.95 AND STILL PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE.

About every 4 weeks (up to 13 times a year) you will receive a mailing indicating the "Featured Title." Plus you may also receive up to 2 more seasonal Featured Title mailings a year. That's up to 15 buying opportunities a year! You can choose to receive the Featured Title, an alternate, or no movie at all. If you do not inform us of your choice within 10 days or by the date specified on the card (either by returning the card, visiting the website, or by calling the 800 number on the card), the Featured Title will be automatically shipped to you.

When you join the Disney Movie Club, you may provide us with your credit card information (website accepts credit card orders only). You will be charged only for the movies that you order (including Featured Title shipments) plus shipping and processing. We will not charge your credit card until the date of shipment. Sorry, we do not accept debit cards or check cards at this time.

You agree to fulfill your purchase commitment within 24 months of sign-up. If you are unable to meet your commitment within your commitment period, your credit card may be charged for the value of the 4 reduced-priced titles you have received. This amount is dependent upon your initial sign up offer and the format of your introductory movies.

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with your introductory titles, simply return them within 10 days of receipt along with written notice informing us that you want to cancel your membership. We will refund any money you might have sent, including shipping and processing costs, as part of our no-risk guarantee.

This offer is limited to customers residing in the contiguous United States and may be withdrawn at any time. Disney Movie Club cannot ship to APOs or FPOs. Limit: one membership per household. Must be 18 years of age or older to join. Applicable sales tax will be added to orders shipped to California and Wisconsin.

This offer may not be combined with any other promotional offer, including coupons and rebates.

All applications to join the Disney Movie Club are subject to review. We reserve the right to request additional information, to reject any application, or to cancel any membership. We reserve the right to alter or end this offer at any time.

All titles are subject to availability.

If you join the club - you HAVE TO pay attention to the mailings. It's best to sign up online and go online to decline the monthly selections. You cannot ignore it. And if you do forget and get a movie you didn't want, don't open it, just refuse it and send it back. This club can be a pain if you don't adhere to the rules. But it works well for starting a collection.

It's feeling more like fall here, too. Only a high of 75 today. And, the leaves are starting to fall.

I'm not sure what I'm making for dinner.

Maybe a pot of chili?confuse

See what living in hell, I mean Texas has done to me?biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Remember, I lived in Ohio for my first 36 years. I know what it is to go trick or treating with a parka under your costume, and snow on the ground.wink

Actually, I'm not sure I could stomach the summers if 75 is cool weather. I don't like being that hot.

But hey, this Halloween it wont be freezing here! So that's exciting!!

This is a nice time of year, for us. We should be done with the 90's and higher. Mid 70's during the day. Around 60 at night.

I will enjoy it while it lasts!

I'm glad you won't have snow for Halloween. I used to hate when that happened.cry

I used to love flannel sheets.  Now that I'm usually hot I only use a flannel top sheet.  I like to feel the coolness of the sheet & pillow case beneath me.  I don't have my flannel top sheet on yet.

Cant stand flannel sheets. Or pajamas. But I do like flannel shirts when it's cold.

Hope you like the chicken NAOW. I was thinking about making it too.
