I'm watching Supernatural, drinking coffee and trying to think of things to feed the baby. He's not super into purée but not quite ready for true solids
Blankie, I confess I thought the same thing. I even posted in the New November Time Change Saturday thread first and still thought this one was the actual Saturday thread.
Flan, cheesecake brownies? I had to look that up; I don't bake any more (but as life changes for the better I plan to remedy that). Wow, there's every variety of cheesecake brownies out there you can think of, even pumpkin spice!

The wind is blowing fiercely here today. The trees will be stripped of their leaves by tonight. Birds are flying into our garage to get out of the wind. Yup, it's really blowing out there.
Took down the Halloween decorations this morning. Time for Thanksgiving decorations. Hmm, have a few pumpkins to bake..
New grand baby was NOT born yesterday, so DS is happy. Baby will be born next week though for sure. She's being induced. So, that is your heads up that I will be gone most of next week.

My pediatrician approved the following foods when my son was 8 months old: baby yogurt, shredded cheese, egg yolks, rice, bits of pasta, and soft bite-sized fruits. Pretty much anything that's easy to gum and they can't choke on.
There's also Gerber foods that "melt" in the mouth.
My son has really expanded his palate and is now enjoying a variety of textures. He has 4 teeth now so we're slowly introducing more true solids in bite-sized pieces.
Green beans, carrots, potatoes and basically any veggie that you can mash up some.
I couldn't afford a bunch of baby food for my kids. I got a really inexpensive ricer and made my own. When out somewhere a fork would work.

Can't take down my Halloween decor, its been raining so it is all wet, Need a few days of no rain then I can take it down.
Its warm in the house, I broiled steak tips and made bread but it will cool down soon. I haven't had my wood delivery yet so what wood I have left I am using sparingly, won't light a fire for another hour or so.

Yep. He eats pretty much anything that gets put in front of him nowadays. He also steals stuff off your plate if he can reach it. He has 4 teeth now and puts those teeth to work.
