i did it so I would stay up later, but actually it's pretty cool.  As and Old person I am staying up 'late tonight.
When do you actually change your clocks?  In the morning or before you go to bed?

I do it before bed--but we probably wouldn't be going to bed before 2 a.m. or so, anyway.

Changing clocks right about now!

It says in an article I just read about how to best handle the time change, to get up at the usual time on Sunday morning (although the time "looks" different).  This is supposed to keep you on more of an even keel during the coming week, as you slowly change your schedule day-by-day until you're on the new schedule.  Good luck with that... biggrin

Screw the article.  I changed the clocks so when I get up bleary eyed manana I won't be confused.  I change the clocks on the appliances at the same time so the have THE SAME time always.  Can't stand having one a minute off from the others.  Its an anal issue of mine but I am good with it.  biggrin

Well, the problem is I wanted to go to the store today.  And I didn't want to think it was the wrong time when I went.  So I left them.  But now I'm going to change them right now.  And I have to make sure the clocks are all on the same time too.

I only have a clock on the microwave. We use our phones and they change automatically.

Watch carefully for the clock changing police. I am sure there must be some near you. There seem to be people ready to jump on anyone for any reason everywhere...

Well la-ti-da  Some of us still hold on to CLOCKS the old fashioned way. WE tell our clocks the time, not the other way around.  I say that with love.blankstare

Yet here you are spending all this time and energy changing the time on an antiquated piece of technology when you have a more precise instrument in your pocket! I use my time to do what I want not what I have to do.

Said with love, of course! 😉

Yeah. Usually people start warning you a week ahead of time.

Apparently you didn't "like" the time change site.

A reminder to change the batteries in your smoke alarms! Also, if your smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector is more than 10 years old, you should replace the whole thing!

Changing my batteries in my smoke alarms is a dangerous thing. It requires a very long ladder.

No problem! Although I should confess...I didn't remember either, I heard it on the news.

It's marked on most calendars as well.

I got up to get a drink, looked at the microwave...a little past 5. Okay, not too early...I just noticed the REAL time on my laptop...

I did the same thing. It's four am on my clocks and microwave. 3am on my computer. Yay an extra hour of sleep! It's technically a day off, but I think they fired the dumb@ss . . . I mean morning employee . . . who is supposed to be in today. Am weighing the pros and cons of a whole day off against 10 hrs of over time ....

I use my phone cause my clock gave out and I am too cheap to buy another one.

Everyone changes their own clocks here.

The one on the microwave gets changed when someone figures out how to do it.
