I hate it. It was 78 and sunny yesterday.

43, cloudy and windy today. Wind chill of about 30. I need to run to the store, and I don't want to leave the house.

On the bright side, no snow. Thank goodness! wink

It's not a vortex, it's a polar inversion.
Our high yesterday was 26 degrees. It is 25 out there right now. It is freakin' cold!!!

I do have a bit of snow. About an inch or 2 at the very most. Nothing intimidating.

It is cold, but as the day progresses, it's watming up. I started the day at 20 degrees and now it's about 31 so that's amazing!

I learned last year that anytime the temp is a positive number...life is good.

It's 68 here. But tomorrow it is supposed to take a downward spiral to a low of 26 Friday night. Then we will be in the forties for the rest of the winter.

It is gorgeous here. I have all my windows open. I guess it is somewhere around 70 or so. No humidity & light breeze. Simply perfect. I think I'm in the cold later in the week zone though.

Just saw on the news that Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Minnesota have 18" of snow, roads extremely slippery, collisions and vehicles sliding off the roads all over.

We had that yesterday for sure. 2 people died ( in addition to the turkeys). Today we only had a little snow. Nothing major.

I knew a guy who grew up in Hawaii, got married, and got a job in Fargo, North Dakota, in a February.

When he and his wife flew in, the snow mounds next to the runway were higher than the airplane. (A 707, if anyone was going to ask.)

The daytime high was -50 degrees (F).

He said one of the challenges was explaining to his father-in-law what it's like to walk around in air that's twice as cold as his freezer.

Good for him for doing it and being accepting about it.

DH hired a man from California who moved here in Minnesota with his wife to take the job. They have done nothing but b!tch, whine and moan since it went down to 30 degrees. I am ready to murder them and dump their bodies in a snow bank. They willingly took the job and moved here...its Minnesota! What did they expect?

Finally yesterday on FB I "jokingly" told her as long as the temp was in the positive numbers she wasn't allowed to complain anymore.

I think that was a snow flake I saw.

It's been 37 all day. Temps are going to drop.

I like snow. It's pretty. I just wish we could have it when it's 70 or 80.

It only snowed here about an inch or 2. Buy my puppy won't do his business in the snow. He was going on the sidewalk. So DH shoveled a portion of the grass - he goes there without a problem! It's hysterical.

That is a place at the edge of our carport and beside the house under the over hang. That is were Monster goes when it is raining or snowing or dark and he is scared.
