I've been quite happy with my shark. It lasted a long time. Now it just leaks boiling hot water all over the floor. I have noticed other products on the market so I guess I will do some research.
Is that the one you turn on and it does it for you?
We have a steamer. You carry it over your shoulder use the attachments. It's too heavy for me to use now. But I loved it.
I use a Swiffer wet mop. It works.

The hoover looks cool. I bet the cost is comparable to my shark and it does more.
Yes. You can get it for about $140 at Walmart, but I bet it will be on sale. I have the Shark, but it's just HARD to push around. I want something that does the work for me, and scrubs the floor.

So I fell asleep watching TV last night and when I woke up, it was to an infomercial for the Shark vacuum, and if you order within the next 30 minutes, you get a free steam mop with it - yours to keep even if you return the vacuum.

I've owned a shark vacuum before. It was a POS. I took it to Goodwill after a month and bought something else. The reviews on the floor mate are mixed. A lot of complaints about the noise.

Not necessarily. Loud motor noise means it's made cheaply. If all you can hear is air noise, THAT means it's working, and probably well designed.
