We will be up bright and early and headed to the Amish Fair today. We have planned a medium day today, a LONG day tomorrow, and a short day on Sunday. I can't sleep. Sigh.

I can't asleep either. I keep waking up every.hour. now I'm wide awake.
Home health will be here today. I'll have them, a nurse and physical therapy coming throughout the week for the next few weeks. Then I plan to hire someone to help me clean and do laundry going forward.
Good morning all! I wish I was having a quiet day but DD is watching friends kids so no chance. I do have some housework to do and might run to the grocery store and Lowes as well. Might get the gym in there too. On call Sat and Sun so I have to get all my running around done :(.
Have a restful healing day TLC.
Enjoy work Flan, it shouldn't be too busy, everyone should be out shopping today.

I've unsubscribed to a bunch of emails because my inbox is always so full of advertisements I miss the important stuff. Some of the say I'm unsubscribed but it may take up to 14 days to take affect. WTH? It's all electronic, it should be instant!
3" of snow would shut this town down! My friend's son keeps shutting my bedroom door. He's autistic and that's one of his things. He's closed the blinds on the sliding door too, and fixed all the shoes by the front door.
Enjoy your lazy day blankie and FWM.
I ventured out to Lowes and on a whim Kmart for my annual pair of Christmas socks. Both stores were empty. Grocery store was empty too.
Wow, I would have thought the stores would be humming today. Did everyone do the "Black Friday" yesterday? Thought there would still be hoards out for more today!
I went last night and got 2 pairs of boots, a nice dress, an electric skillet, a fleece blanket, and a Clinique lip gloss set. Total price was $108. I have a rebate to send in for $10.

Thanks SB!
I might not be as lazy as I thought. I'm going to do a couple of loads of laundry, since I don't really plan to leave the house today.
But, laundry is easy. I might as well get it done.

Not me, lady. I won't go near a store this weekend.
(Only exception would be a quick dash to the grocery store, if we need anything.)

Me neither FWM, but I know a lot of people do. A friend sent me several excited texts last night. She had successfully gotten through the 6:00 wave and was waiting for 8:00.
Southern Belle looks like she got some good deals.
Yes. Use a CC that also gives you rewards. Also yesterday on line with Kohl's ebates was calculating the cash back on the regular price, not what the final sale price. I think it was a screw up but they may not have caught it yet.

C is out at Wal-Mart ringing the Salvation Army bell with a couple friends. She was there at 6 this morning. Comes home at 3.
She text me asking if I would bring her wallet to her cause she left it here. Funny thing is last night she was fussing at me, telling me how she is an adult now and doesn't need her mommy taking care of her little baby girl anymore. I didn't say anything to her when I got there. But she had this look on her face like "ok mom, I get it."
I grabbed some checkers on the way the back home. For some reason I crave a cheeseburger on the very days everything is closed. All I could think about yesterday was how good a cheeseburger would be.
Not doing anything else today. Was thinking about doing a drive thru Christmas light thing but I think I will pass. $25 to drive thru a mile and half of lights to end up in "Santa's villiage" where you can spend more money on junk and have a cup of hot chocolate in the cold while little kids have their picture made with Santa and play on inflatables might have been worth it when my kids were younger. I don't think it would be that much fun now.
Hope everyone has a great day. Everyone's plans sound great.
Even those who plan to do nothing.

I did about 1/3 of the Christmas decorating yesterday. I was planning on doing the rest today, but I just feel like laying around. I need greenery for my mantle, but I don't see that happening today either. G is playing tonight so I have to get of the couch at some point...*sigh*

Lazy day for me. I'm in my jammies & was reading a book with a kitty in my lap all morning. I decided to take a quick break & see what you all were up to today.
I hit a deer on my way home from my mom's last night. Luckily for both of us I saw her coming & was only moving at maybe 5 mph & braking. My tire hit her rear. She went down in the weeds on the side of the road for a few seconds & then got up & jumped a fence. I hope she was ok & not just moving on adrenaline. I don't think my car has any damage. It was dark when I got home so I couldn't tell but there was nothing obvious.

I'm glad you saw her coming, Lexxy! That could have been bad.
I have never hit a deer but I have seen the damage it has caused.
There was the funniest 9-1-1 call a few years back about a man hitting a deer. I'll try to find it.
I did see a car hit a horse one time. That was the craziest thing ever.

There is some ugly language, but you can read it without the sound.

Almost the same thing happened to me a few years back. But it was on my way to work early morning, I saw the herd off to the side and "felt" they were about to start running. One rand right into the side of my car and one I hit going about the speed you were going. It fell over but when I got out of the car to check it out, the deer was gone. Scary.

My son thoroughly enjoyed himself at yesterday's brunch with my family. At one point, he grabbed a fistful of food and smeared it in his hair. Most of the food got in his mouth. I must say that I love how solid food keeps his tummy full so long. He went a good 6 hours on what he had for brunch.
FIL's ham was yummy. I'm not a turkey fan but DH enjoyed his turkey leg.
I need a couple things from the store but am not going out today. I hate crowds and especially Black Friday crowds. I absolutely love Christmas but I loathe the madhouse the stores become this time of year.
We are decorating for Christmas. I think I'm just going to sit back and let DD do it and then fix it all when she goes to bed. She has very odd decorating ideas. I have these Christmas tins that I usually place in different places around the house. She has them all lined up together. Any ornaments that are similar are hung up in a group together. Lol.

Maybe she's just a natural when it comes to wanting things to be organized?
It's great that she wants to help. My kids were not that in to it. I have to do it myself.
