Tonight the Marines and the radio and tv stations were out at Wal-Mart collecting toy for Toys for Tots.  We went to drop off our annual donation.  It was a huge big deal apparently.  And guess who showed up?  My town's Corvette Club!  Rows and rows and rows of Corvettes.  Most of them blue.  The kids loved it!

Vette has so many Secret Santas, she probably has a Secret Santa in your town's Corvette Club, NJN. I bet she gets a real Vette for Christmas.

The kids were really excited to see all the Vette's out and lined up. It was a lot of fun. We just waited in line and the Marines came to our car and collected the gifts. One Marine said, "This isn't a Corvette!" DH said, "It's the Jeep brand Corvette!" Everyone laughed.

 No!  I didn't have my phone with me!  I wish I had.  It was really cool.  Toys for Tots usually has one big place a year where they do cool stuff and make a big production of it.  Bunches of Marines will come out along with our retired military.  There are drop boxes all over town for the toys but we try to make the cool thing if we can.  Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.  It's still fun though!  We give every year.
