A non medical term. Although I have a really good medical term lined up. And I don't even know if it IS Syzygy Saturday. I highly doubt it.
DH and I sorted through all the gifts yesterday. We pulled everything out and put each person gifts in a black trash bag so all we have to do is pull out the bag and wrap that person's gifts. One, we can actually step in our closet now and two, it seems less daunting broken down like that. I even did the ziplock bags for the stocking stuffers again this year. Still have tons to do though! So much. So little time!
And just an FYI LL, SS was helping me make the bad today and asked me why I suffered from ND. I asked him what ND was and he said Neatness Disorder. I asked him who he had been talking to. LL or his Dad.

My foot is pretty bad. It happened on Sunday, and I still can't move three of my toes. It is a lovely mixture of purple AMD yellow, with just a hint of green. And swollen. Ow.
I'm on grand doggy duty today. Conor and Jessi went to Houston to have early Christmas with her family. I probably won't be on the computer much today.
DS just picked up DD to take her Christmas shopping! Yay I don't have to go. I do have to get dressed and get the grocery shopping done. My assignment for Christmas dinner is Cesar Salad for 20 people.
The dog woke me up at 3:30 to go out, he had to poo! Went back to bed and dreamed about dog poo.

I have had a sucky week. My foot got stepped on, my bil left for Nevada, and I have a nastyt cold. Ugh
Did you get it x-rayed? Do you know whether there are any broken bones? There are a LOT of bones in a human foot.
hope it's just bruised, but one of the tests is whether you can wiggle your toes. (Test for broken wrist / arm is whether you can move the fingers.)
What are you doing for your foot?
If a bone is broken in the foot, usually there is nothing that can be done for it except time.
And the moving your fingers and toes thing is not always true. I broke my wrist completely and could move all my fingers. Even when I broke my thumb I could still move it.

I need to get the food needed for the week sized up and go shopping. My brother and his kids keep flip flopping on when and how long they will be here and it greatly and directly effects what I buy. This drives me crazy. I feel a Christmas carol coming on at some point today.
As for gifts, all I have to do is put the bows on as I put them under the tree. And the stockings are divided so I can just put it in them.
Need to straighten up the house some. But when the other 3 get here it will be like it was never touched.
Oh well, Jingle bells anyone?
Hope you all have a great day.
Dona hope the foot heals quickly.

Dona, OUCH!! Hope your foot is not broken and I definitely hope you have had an ex-ray done. Heat should help now and keep it up as much as possible. Sorry about the cold as well. BIL being gone is probably depressing for your family as well. Hope the week improves for all of you. Hi everyone! Short post, heading out soon. We are going to finish Christmas shopping. Yay, on the busiest day of the season. DH does this to me every single year. We will be lucky if we get back home before 2 a.m.
And, he always spends way more money than I do.
Hope you all enjoy this last Saturday before Christmas and can relax and enjoy Christmas week.

Today is a non wrapping day! I have declared it so. Today is cooking/baking/canning day. I finished four loaves of banana bread and am now working on stocking up on spaghetti sauce again. I made gift baskets for my neighbors of my sauce, jellies, and banana bread. I threw in some noodles and candies to make it look pretty. I still have some jam to make later.

I did yoga after zumba. I am way out of practice. New instructor turned out to be a girl at church I do the first impressions committee with. She's young and flexible. I felt like a clod.
It has begun. N & N are here. Brother will be here sometime tonight.

Alex, the reindeer, is on his way back to the north pole for medical supplies. We have fashioned Fred a bed and Alex is going to be bringing an IV to make Fred all better. I think he will have to spend the night in elf ICU though.

Baby A is sick. She slept like crap last night (up every hour and a half to two hours, and took forever to get back to sleep) and I couldn't figure out why. Today her nose has been all stuffy and runny, she's got a low grade fever, and she hasn't been able to stay asleep longer than twenty minutes-and that was in the car. I think it will be a long night for me. She's not fussy or whiny though, so that's a plus!
I really wanted to take her to see Santa tomorrow too. I hope she is feeling better.
NAOW. Have you tried saline in her nose? Heat can make those little nasal passages swell too. Have you noticed if she is better in a cooler area?
Bless the little baby. I will say a prayer for her. And you too. :)
