It's cold here, but later on this morning I'm going to try to get out for a walk in the sunshine. That usually helps.

I may have to get that laminated & hang it on my office wall! When we have bad days at work my coworker & I name off all the jobs we can think of that are worse than ours.

DD and I decided to start a puzzle. It's only 500 pieces but she feels she has done something important when she helps me work it. She's happily sitting at the dining room table sorting the pieces. I'll let her get the edges together and will then place them in the right positions for her. She struggles with that part. But, she's happy!

I love doing jigsaw puzzles, especially this time of year.

We did a few easy ones around Christmas vacation. Getting ready to tackle a 1000 piece one soon.

They are very relaxing, and help me learn patience.

The dorm common rooms usually have a puzzle going. At least in the girls' dorms they do. You should see the fireworks when they find out a piece is missing!

We unofficially called it a "Code Brown". We had official codes for other circumstances. Code red was fire (I had one of those), code yellow was missing child (I had more of those than I could count) and code green was our way of saying "man down!" I had a few of those as well.

We have the edge completely together now. She was having a fit that I wasn't doing it right.
