I made it to work just fine. It's actually above freezing here, so no problems. I have to leave in a hour for allergy testing in the city a little west. I hope the drive isn't too bad. I also hope it doesn't take forever, I've got a lot of work to do today.

Also need to talk to coworker about taking a Monday off in a couple weeks.........

Woke up to find the dog happily noshing on a Reese PB Cup that DD left out. Guess who is staying home to nurse puppy while his tummy gets sick?? I called the vet, he didn't eat enough to need medical attention, I just need to keep an eye on him. Probably looking at a day of many trips outside...if he can make it.

I didn't want to go out today anyway.

My dentist has 2 offices. On Mondays he is at the one that is a long way from our house. I just can't wait to get out on those icy roads...

I'm sorry your tooth is broken (been there, done that) and that the roads are icy. Is rain / ice / snow still falling? Would the roads have been salted and cleared by now?

Made it to the doctors office without incident. Getting out of the office was the hard part. Why do 7 people need something 5 minutes before you need to leave? I'm just lucky the roads weren't bad since I ran out the door 10 minutes late

Uh oh ...

They might not be able to put a crown on it. There has to be enough stable tooth and root to support a crown.

I think the next option is to remove what's loose and put in an implant.

My Monday started out crappy. I got the mail & I am being taken to court on a motion to vacate judgement. Fyckers are trying to kick me out of my house. Why you may wonder.......I didn't pay my HOA dues. But I did pay them in October before the original court date. Paid in full. Then I got another letter from the attorney so I sent him a cover letter with a copy of the cancelled check that was cashed over two weeks before the court date. I assumed that was the end of it. Now I received this letter. I tried calling but nobody answered. I am so pissed off I am about to explode. I want to counter with a harrassment suit but I'm sure that will be a waste of money & get me nowhere.

I'm starting to think he is just trying to rack up legal fees. I hope this gets straightened out before court. If I go to court I intend to make it clear to the judge that I paid & this jerk knew ti before he filed his judgement.

LOL, apparently I'm an idiot. Motion to vacate does NOT mean they want me to vacate the premises. It means they are dismissing the first claim since they received my check. I feel sort of silly now. The guy who called me was really nice about it & said they could not kick me out of my house. I feel so much better now.

I kind of wondered about that. My mortgage & taxes are current. I didn't think HOAs had that much power but for those of us who don't go to court as part of our daily routine a big old stack of papers with a court date is a scary thing to receive in the mail.

Since I've been feeling better the last few weeks, I've gone on sort of a mini spending spree. I needed some new clothes, so I bought a few sweaters- I had no winter clothes that fit - and I haven't bought a new purse in about 6 years. So I ordered a purse on Amazon, a wallet and a scarf. Got the package today. The purse is more of a tote bag. It's HUGE! I like it but I could use it as a carry on on a plane if I needed to.

Still waiting for a couple more shirts. I hate it when you place 1 order for 5 things, and you get them in 4 different shipments. This happens with Walmart too. The UPS/FedEx guys are going to be busy the next week delivering 1 thing at a time from my 2 orders.

In an emergency, you can make a dog throw up by giving them hydrogen peroxide. One tablespoon for every 10 pounds of dog. But they will throw up a LOT. My vet had me do this when my dog got into the trash and ate an entire package of Oreos I had thrown away.
