I woke myself up making lists of everything I need to pack today to go down to our fishing camp. DH has been going stir-crazy being cooped up in the house for more than 24 hours! lol! I can't do any cleaning yet, because the noise might wake DH, and then he'll want to leave immediately!

I'm up too. Morning.

We all went to bed early last night. Like around 8. The house was so quiet.

But I didn't go to sleep till after midnight or close to 1 and I woke up about and hour ago. Everyone else is still asleep. Sound asleep. But it is kind of nice.

On tap for today? Boys to school, breakfast with C and maybe mom, taking a dress of C's to be altered, grocery store and maybe a pedicure. Depends on the time. Then get the boys and home to have dinner and family time.

It sounds like everyone has a busy but not awful day planned.

I don't know if it was the same group but mom hated when it was their turn for inspection. It wasn't the inspection she didn't like. It was the having to be there and not being able to leave until they left that she didn't like. And they could call her in at any time of the night they wanted if they had a questions.

I cant imagine that much snow.

Looked at our temps. It is 22 right now. But the real feel is 28. So that's much better.

The good news is, we are going up to 51 or better today.

I wish I could send you guys some warm weather.

I'm SOOOO jealous!!! I can't wait to get back to the lake!!! We're going to go next weekend to get it ready for the summer. I hope it's not too cold and we can fish some...

For once, I took a nap this morning. DH got up and we spent about an hour together and then I went back to bed. Wow, did that feel good.
I woke up again when SIL sent a text with pictures of her new grandson, born this morning. Today is FIL's birthday, but he's been gone since 1987.
Pictures have been exchanged, congrats sent, and lots of conversations via text within the family. To say I was stunned to get notified of birth from grandma is an understatement. She is not down there and I do not know when she plans to go visit. I would have been on a plane today. Oh well, it is what it is. Their circus, not mine.
He is a beautiful baby though and I hope grandma comes to terms with her issues. I can not imagine not being full of joy at the birth of a grandchild.

ETA, I just found out grandma is there and grandpa is flying in tomorrow. I'm glad. smile

Ugh. I really do seem to have developed some sort of light-sensitive headache problem. I can't really tell which comes first - the headache or the light-sensitivity. This morning I finally turned out my bedroom light (I was using it to read by) and just used the darkness to soothe my eyes....

Baby A has started pulling herself up. And she is getting fast at getting around the house. Her favorite thing? Playing in the dog water and food. I have to keep grabbing her, but she goes right back to it.

Wait, she was only born this summer. Aren't they babies until they are about two & turn into toddlers?
