Morning all. Once again...sorry for all that snow my Northern friends. Everything for baby shower/lynch packed up in two very large totes. I may tip over holding them. Forgot cards. I thought about a Walmart run but the only people that go there this hour are muggers and mugees. Blank note cards with a message will have to do.

Morning.

I have a couple sleepy heads that do not want to get up. I am about to start singing to them. Song suggestions? It has to be up beat, nauseously happy and infectious.

More snow. Goodness. I'd be insane by now. It has to be feeling a bit claustrophobic by now. Hope it melts slow enough not to be a big ol pain in the behind.

Enjoy today, we wont have another like it.

Don't do it Lily! Being awaken by an over the top happy song would start my day off in a sour mood. I am not a morning person. Lol

Today is Thursday, but it is my Friday. After today, I won't have to return to work until Tuesday! And my Zelda Monopoly should be here today. Can't wait to play it with my boys this weekend!

Who the hell brings a $2,000 Louis Vuitton purse to work and leaves it in an office that is open and unmonitored all day with dozens of people passing by?

The bag was found still in the office but seriously!
BTW the office doesn't even belong to the purse owner.

Better them than me, I guess! I can see it as being an effective waking up tool though. Mine are lucky I don't like to sing that early! They probably suffer enough during my "concerts" in the car. Lol.

Can I complain?  We know I take the bus. Umm, a 3 mile trip.  Over an hour last night to get home.

Well, at least I was on a bus.  Those poor folks in Beantown.  No T!

Do you have MBTA buses, Trudy? Do they actually run anywhere near on schedule?

Because the T in greater Boston SUCKS THE BIG TIME! You probably heard their boss has resigned.

There is a dead train that has been stuck between two T stations in Quincy all week. They have to bus everyone to and from all the red line T stops. And they have a lot more falling-apart trains than that. What a nightmare.

Enough about the snow for me. I'm tired of complaining.  It's poisonous and it makes life lousy.

So I am finding reasons to make friends with this snow. And try to see the bright side.

My family and I are all alive, the heat works, our driveway is clear, and we all got to work today.

Yay!

Thankfully the city of Worcester has their own bus system except none of the stops are plowed out.  They just drop me in the street.

My nephew is in Southie.  Takes the red line to work.  Been standing waiting for a bus for hours.  Ugh!

Good morning all.
Lily, I always sang, loudly and off key, to get my kids out of bed. I didn't stop until the last one was up. The other two would go and scream at the offending late sleeper. It was hilarious.
I'm making cream caramels for DGS's birthday tomorrow. Since I am leaving today, he gets his gift early.
Road trip with three of my cousins. We start late this afternoon. I will wave furiously at NAOW as we pass through her city tomorrow morning and again on Saturday on our trip back home.
Someone seriously needs to start packing for me..
I will keep all the northeastern geeks in my thoughts. Seriously, you all have been pounded. And I am very impressed by the positive attitudes.

Morning everyone. We are getting flurries but it isn't sticking. My coworker was complaining this morning that you northerners stole our snow. I just laughed & thought if she only knew how badly you all didn't want it.

I would probably punch someone if they started singing in the early morning.

Czech, the kids all say they don't like it but then they like to talk about and how funny it is. So I think they do like it.

Temps are dropping. From 41 to 34. The guy on t.v. says it is snowing somewhere around here. I don't see it.

Usher is at one of the schools just across the state line. Speaking to the students. Probably a stay in school/don't do drugs kind of thing.

I have been fighting a yucky feeling in my stomach all morning.

Cream caramels? Yes please!

I feel bad for him.  Needs the T to get to work.  And zero parking in Southie.  I am very careful, I just scoot home quick.   My niece is a nurse and lives in Dorchester.  It is as bad for her.
