To melt snow and ice:

In a gallon container, mix together:  2 quarts warm water,  2 oz rubbing alcohol, and 6 drops Dawn

 

The video shows it working IMMEDIATELY!

Happily for us, Momala, the sun is out today. The snow on streets and sidewalks is just about gone!
