I have to run out during lunch for a quick errand. We usually don't leave since we only get 30 minutes and we aren't allowed to wear scrubs out of the building. I'll need an hour. They will get over it.
Have a good meeting IKWTDS.
Half day for the boys? I think it is stupid to just go a half day.
Tomorrow is our day to make up a snow day. It was built into the calendar.
55 more rain on its way.
Monster is going on day three of being sick. Time to go to the vet.
Have a great day ya'll.

Half days are what took the place of the in service days we had growing up. The kids get enough time to count it as a school day any the teachers get time to do conferences, planning and whatever else.
We have two built in snow days a year. If it doesn't snow and school is not out, they get that day off. Or if they need to make up a day, they have to tack it on the end of the year.
We go to school from first week of August to the end of May. But we only have 175 actual school days.

And yes. We had winter break, went one day and was out another 4 days for weather.
We are out again the week of the 30 th for Spring Break.
And then school ends May 22nd.

We usually have one early release day a month for conferences/teacher learning, etc., but it's always on a Friday. Ours is the 20th this month. We won't have one next month b/c of spring break the week of the 6th.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I have tomorrow and Monday off! Sunday I'm driving south to see my cousin (stage 4 COPD, she's in the hospital ) and driving back Monday.
Does Honey stay at home?
flan
She usually goes along when I go somewhere (which is seldom), but this time she'll stay home. Cousin being in hospital means Honey would have to stay in the car while we visit and it's supposed to be like 91 degrees there! If I left her alone in the hotel room she would probably bark - she does suffer from separation anxiety. Dad will take good care of her and probably give her lots of treats.
Get Honey a little vest & say she's a therapy dog!
She IS a therapy dog, Lexxy! Just not registered...
My dad's little MaltiPoo, Megan, would make a wonderful institution visitor dog. She's 7 pounds of fluffy wiggle-butt and loves everyone. Honey is more shy - if she lets you pet her, you've been honored!

I think most pets are unregistered therapy animals
