The light went off for 1/2 second

It seems to be very windy here, and the power went off briefly.

 

I don't like it when it suddenly gets dark.

I just realized, when the room light went out, so did the monitor.

I'd better check and see what part of the UPS it's plugged into. And,

it might be time to replace the UPS. (I put new batteries into two old ones that weren't working,

and now I have spares. Thank you, Amazon.com, for selling these batteries for less than half the price of everyone else.)

I don't mind it when the electricity goes off, but I definitely do not like those half second or one second outages. Always makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the wiring in MY house rather than the whole neighborhood.
