It isn't just him. He is only one of many that told the lie. But it seems this one is the only one to say he is wrong and apoplgize.

Regardless, this 4 word sentence has gutted a town and turned our nation into battle ground over this.

And all over a thug.

Sadly, it doesn't matter that the truth was admitted to, people who want to protest for the sake of protesting will ignore the admission so they can continue to create turmoil.

Exactly.

I can't believe the store owners and tax paying citizens haven't done more to regain control. The shootings of officers should be outraging the law abiding citizens of that town.

Sad to say I think the only way to change the path of this town would be to remove every member of law enforcement, administration and government and replace them with fresh faces.

That wouldn't help. LEOs, administration and government aren't the problem..

that would be like replacing the tires on your car when the brakes go bad.

Or just sell of all the rental properties and make them into high rent/ high priced condos and re make the downtown to make it appealing.

It no longer matters what the truth is. Those with an agenda will believe whatever they want to believe. I watched them interview people after the two cops were shot. A lot of them actually came out and said it was payback for Michael Brown being shot and those officers deserved to die. They asked them if it mattered that those officers weren't even Ferguson officers. The people said no. A cop is a cop is a cop and it's now come down to take a cop for every life they take. Justified or not. Cops are afraid for their lives now. People are at the point where it's like a gang war with the police. Oh, we think you took one of our so we're going to take one of yours. No rhyme or reason.
