DH and I spent all of yesterday shopping. He let me pick out a whole new living room set. Happy dance!

The thought of being awake for it is what freaks me out.

Morning all...back to the grind. We spent 4 glorious days at the lake. I almost cried when we had to leave. I keep trying to talk G into moving there, but he ain't going for it. Going from 3000 sf to 800 sf would mean a LOT of purging.

FWM, The past few weeks I have taken my mom for cataract surgery in both eyes. She doesn't even remember the procedure. They don't completely knock you out, but you don't really know what's going on and she has no memory of it at all...

DH had cataracts removed from both eyes and he sailed through without any problems. I dread when it is my turn. cry

Morning.

Thunderstorms rolled through about 3 maybe 4 this morning. First thunderstorm of the year. It was loud and flashed angerily but it passed on by.

I would think doing the eye surgery sooner rather than later would be better. I don't know how I could stand it either.

 What???? Are you serious?  I've never heard of that.  My moms insurance covered all but $300 and G may have to have his done in the next couple of years.  Out insurance covers 100%!

Our insurance wouldn't cover DH's cataract surgery until he had two references of need. Yeah, they don't pay for unnecessary surgery anymore.

Good news at my eye exam!

My eyes have barely changed, so I can keep the same glasses for another year.

My glaucoma is stable. No change from last year.

And...he never even MENTIONED my cataracts! (And, I didn't ask! No point in looking for trouble, if you know what I mean!)wink

A little good news is better than nothing. A mini happy dance here!smile

Glad you got some good news!

I was approved to work 3 days a week instead of 4! So now I have 3 7-hour days instead of 4 5-hour days. It's so much easier to get things done at work this way. This is the start, so I am off today! I will work T/W/Th. Yippee!

Tomorrow is DD's 17th bday! Time flies! I have a ton to do still, have yet to purchase all the presents and I need to get her cake still.

  Tomorrow is J's 18th birthday! 

He gets a giant cookie cake and we are going to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. 

Saterday he wants to go to the zoo. We will probably take a picnic lunch.

My dog is lethargic :( Doesn't want to go out, eating very little. I've een blaming the nasty rain we've been having but it's not raining today. One more day of this and he's going to the vet.
