Well, the new fiscal year is here.  From today, milk, cheese, chocolate, cooking oil, butter, coffee, etc all go up 8 per cent or more.   Health insurance goes up, nursing care insurance (for lack of a better translation) goes up, social security payments to retirees go down....     My, my,   Wish this was an April Fool, it is for real.  Hope the rest of you are having a better start.  Oh, yes, the fiscal year in the US starts from July 1, right?

I was induced on the 31st so I wouldn't have an April Fools baby. 

Of course I was also 2 weeks over due.

 It is supposed to be in the high 40's today.  But the warmth (and I say that loosely) hasn't taken care of the snow.  my bushes are peeking through the 2 ft still in the yard.  My deck is coming along nicely though.

This is confusing. I saw IKWTDS talking about 2 feet of snow and I thought it was LL and I was trying to figure out when that came through.
