Those are both good but I wouldn't eat them late at night. No way in the world. The pickles would be an appetizer if we went out and the funnel cake would be a special dessert. We don't usually have dessert. Nothing. Maybe twice a month I might cookies or a cake or something but we don't normally have dessert after dinner. Or after lunch.
If I'm snacking late at night I keep nutritious snacks around. Some nuts, granola, some crackers and cheese or maybe just the cheese. Sometimes a bowl of cereal. Snacking isn't bad if it is done nutritiously.

I found fried pickle spears. Those might be better than the chips. I like a stronger taste.
As much as we talk about food, I find it hard to believe no one has any late night cravings around here. Even if you don't eat them.

I haven't had late night cravings since I started cooking everything from scratch from skinnytaste.com. Before then, I would snack on nuts or cheese-its.
