I thought this would be a good title for today since everyone was talking about Jesus dying for our sins.  And maybe in preparation for tomorrow when everyone practices gluttony at Easter dinner?

I just left the theatres, Furious 7. It was really good, some of the action was pretty far fetched but, still good.

Could you pick out the fake Paul? Or any repeat scenes?

I want to see it. But I think I might find it a bit sad.

Gluttony?  I don't practice gluttony at Easter dinner.  Eating a meal is not gluttony.  Now, all the candy eating from the eggs and easter baskets is probably gluttony.

If DS2 cooks tomorrow, it will be ham, so, yeah, no gluttony here.

Lots to do today but no Easter related. Hair app't have to go to UPS to ship my broken sound system back, bunch of other stuff. And I want to start tackling my garage and get at least half cleaned and organized. I re screened three window screens last night and need to put them back in the windows. My plan is get a good jump on spring clean up this year so I can focus on the landscaping over the next couple of months.

I like holiday w/e's when I don't have to travel, it is so relaxing. And DS and I will have a great meal out tomorrow.

I try not to travel during holidays. I really wanted to to to Hilton Head for shopping but the weeks before and after Easter are insane so I will stay on my side of the river until May.

Lean ground pork. Salt, pepper, paprika, fennel, crushed red pepper. 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of each depending on how much heat you like.

I also make a maple, apple, chicken sausage. The apple gives it the moisture.

I promised DH bacon. I've sort of not been the greatest wife lately. Between work and Gordito he's getting the short end of the stick. I promised he could sleep in, and then I'd make him coffee, bacon and biscuits.

Ladies can you do it all? Or does someone always get shafted?

Good morning all!!

Been up since 5 this morning. DH and I enjoyed viewing the eclipse.
The buns are now out of the oven. I have a freshly made dessert in the frig. I'm now ready to cook 3 dozen eggs for the grand's to color this afternoon.
It is a great day.

I hope everyone else's day is as good. smile

Bonny,

It's a balancing act. DH1 traveled for work, so most of the time it was only me. It gets easier as the kids get older.

I don't feel good. I thought I somehow dodged the crud that has been infecting my family for the last few weeks, but it caught up with me. We have plans to meet friends for an egg hunt and Easter festivities downtown, then I need to boil eggs to dye and some to make deviled eggs with. Then of course making easter baskets and hiding eggs tonight. Its going to be a long day. I just want to stay in bed.

Bonny don'y try to do it all. Let the little things go. The house doesn't have to be spotless at all times. Make a few simple meals during the week.

I was thinking flat marbles or some type of glass. The counter I want to do is about 7 feet long and houses my stand mixer, Keurig, nutri bullet, and microwave. They are all stainless and/or black. I have some chicken and rooster decor over that way and copper molds on the wall.

Okay, I have to ask, since I know you have cats. How did you keep them from "Helping"?

Bonny - someome ways gets shafted. The key is to keep rotating who it is. Sorry. Wish I had better advice. Lol Usually if there was a way, I would ensure I was the one who got the short end of the stick - but my
DH recognizes that and spoils me when he can so it all works out.

Surprise - DH invited people over today to watch a game on TV. So I cleaned this morning.

Surprise - DD invited people over tomorrow for Easter dinner. So I am cooking tomorrow now. Lol. Apparently the dining hall is serving chicken fingers. Not for Easter dinner. Just. No. Lol. So I am happy to host a bunch of teenagers who will eat and smile and laugh and appreciate my cooking.

Won't be on much - have to company clean, shop, cook...gonna be busy. Was looking forward to a lazy weekend. Not gonna happen.
