If he doesn't get death. I will be surprised and disappointed in those jurors.

I just heard that of the 30 counts he was found guilty of, 17 carry the death penalty.
So chances are good they'll give him death. And of course he will appeal, but they said even if he wins an appeal for one or two counts, they can still give him death on the others. I hope to God they don't appeal the counts individually. That would take a lifetime.

But he cannot appeal on the charges of being found guilty, he admitted it. So all he can appeal is anything from the sentencing hearing.

All I can think of is 8 year old Martin Richard, and his father holding his bloodied body.
Yeah, so sad. I just want to hug that family. Sister loses a leg, mom an eye, Dad trying to keep the sister alive knowing his son is dead and wife is in horrible pain. That family signifies the bombing as do many others.

Lily, this is a Federal crime, it isn't like jail or your state Prisons. He will be kept isolated.
And that is the problem. Put him in GP and the tax payers will be rid of a cost in a few months.

Either way he'll burn in hell so justice will be served.
Here is where my compassion comes into play.
I HATE what he did. I believe he deserves to die.
But I don't want anyone to burn in hell for eternity. I hope he finds God and forgiveness. I really do.

Well I am not talking about just anyone. Like I said, I think he should die.
But at the same time, we just celebrated Easter. We remembered the one who died for each and every one of us so we could be saved.
I can't remember and celebrate the meaning of Easter and not believe that any one, no matter their sin, can be forgiven.

He should have never been tried in the court system. This was an act of terrorism. This should have fallen under the military and he should have been arrested and dealt with that way. Yes, he can ask God for forgiveness. But, that has nothing to do with whether or not he should get the death penalty. He should get the death penalty.
