She needs to go. If only to teach her a lesson. She works a high profile job. When you have a job like that you have to know that you are ALWAYS in the eye of the public. I realize we all get frustrated but she just comes off as mean and hateful. Not frustrated. You know, if she had said bad things about the towing COMPANY or about the treatment she got from them I might say suspend her. But her attack was PERSONAL. That's beyond bad.

I agree. That wasn't a rant, it was an attack. She shouldn't be able to keep her job after that.

Exactly. I understand the frustration of having your car towed. If she had been cussing about what a bastard company the towing company was or how they were f'ing unfair or how they were SOB's for towing her car I would have said suspend her and leave it at that. But she got downright mean, nasty, and personal. She was like a big playground bully going for the things that would hurt someone most. It's a line and she crossed it.

Well yeah but everyone has been owly at some point.
I can honestly say I have never talked to anyone that way.
Me neither.
And there is no reason at all to make the nasty personal attack that she did.

I agree. It's one thing to piss and moan about the cost. Or how unfair the towing company is. Fine, gripe a little.
But, she went after that poor clerk in a personal way.
That crossed the line, for me, too.
Totally uncalled for.
Right. It's a towing company. I'm sure it's not the first time someone has lost their temper with the company in general. About how unfair it is or how they are jerks or whatever. This was more than that.

Plus, let's just say she was totally justified for being angry. That her car was towed for no reason. Or that they WERE jerks. This whole thing just gives her so much less credibility.

There is no justification for what she said. Ugly all around. The lowest of the low.

She left her car on a parade route. She got what she deserved.
She's a reporter. She's not stupid. I'm sure she knew where she was parking. She even pointed out in the video just how brilliant she was.

I live an hour away and heard announcements for days about how cars would be towed after a certain time if left on the route.
Gosh, and you're not even as smart as her!

I think a video that starts mid-conversation is questionable. What was said before? I would need to know everything before calling for her head.
You are right. I had to think about this. We dont' hear what that woman is saying. And, we have all been snippy or whatever to people. If you don't think you ever have , sure.

I can't imagine this was justified. The clerk stayed calm despite being personally insulted. Did she mysteriously say something nasty to trigger the tirade?
