Good morning, IKWTDS,SB, Tiny, Lily, and flan! And, all the Sleepy Geeks!

It's Retail Wednesday in FWM land! Heading to the outlet mall for a little shopping and lunch with NJN!smile

And, when I get back home, I've got to do a bit of furniture moving and cleaning, before the new stuff is delivered tonight.

(New table and chairs for the breakfast room. New sofa and chair for the family room. New love seat for the living room. I'm psyched!)

My old breakfast room set will be rehomed to Conor and Jessi's house. They are happy to have it.

I'm going to have a busy day!

I hope all the Geeks have a great Wednesday!smile

Wow! Early birds around here!

Good morning, FWM, flan, SB, Lily, Tiny and IKWTDS!

I'm knitting..

And it was 20 degrees at 6 this morning. My poor tulips are drooping and there went the apples and plums for the year.  no

I'm up. My arthritis is particularly painful today. I'm really feeling it in my shoulders even.

Haven't taken my morning pain pill yet.  Maybe it will ease up after that.  Last night I didn't sleep well because of pain.  I could have gotten up and taken another pill but I didn't want to be groggy this morning.

I'm excited. We've needed it for a while. I just needed to get motivated to go look. I found something I liked the first day! Showed it to Wayne, he liked it, too. Sold!wink

Next on the list...a new paint job for the downstairs. I can do most of it myself, once I pick the colors.

After the paint, good-bye carpet. Hello hardwood floors. (We can't do the whole house, but we want to do the downstairs, except for where we redid the tile. We still like that, and will keep it. If the price is right, we might to the stairs, and upstairs hallway too. We'll have to see how for our budget will stretch.wink

I think the weather must be overcast. It's still kind of dark out here, I'm sore, and the dogs are curled up on the bed. Sure sign it's not a beautiful sunny day!

Good morning all!

FWM, it must be fate, we are having a new bed delivered today! Now that we've moved our shop to a retail location, I now have a guest room back. Old bed going there (it's not really old old)

Wonky customer yesterday, called all pissed off. Want to guess why? He got some tee shirts from us. He does pressure washing. He got a stain on his shirt (keep in mind, there was no stain on the shirt when we delivered) The stain is on the side of the shirt where we didn't even print. His wife couldn't get the stain out. So now it's OUR fault because she always could get out stains on his shirts.

I think I'm going to call Publix..."Hello? Yes, I bought some chicken from you yesterday, and today when I cooked it, I burned it. I've never done that before! Your chicken must be defective!"

8 thousand tees done, 4 thousand more to go by Monday.

Morning everyone. FWM I am so jealous of your hardwood. I really want to hardwood on my main level. I've been saving for years but every time I get a good amount saved up something more important like dental work or repairs to my rental pop up & deplete the fund. Currently the fund only has $500. I hope you love it.

Oh, yeah...in social situations, not so much, but can't help what walks into the shop!

On another little funny, we hired a high school kid (home schooled) to help us with this big job.  Monday and yesterday I had him up at our house opening, repacking and labeling the boxes of shirts to be printed at the shop, then picked up by the festival volunteers.  The example label I made for him had the name of the event, and under PO, the last name of the merchandise chairperson.  Her last name is Lunt.  It was with a mix of horror and amusement as I watched the volunteers pick up several boxes where the "L" was not exactly nicely angled in a 90 degree fashion.  It looked like a "C"....I hope she doesn't notice!

Sorry to hear about your friend, LL.

Sounds like most everyone is having a good day. The sun is shining although we are supposed to get storms this afternoon.

So far, I have picked a script from Dr's, went to breakfast, Walmart and CVS.

Settling in to work on schoolwork. Up for today is the following:
1. Social Policy & Ethics - Week #5 discussions - finish citations
2. Assessment & Documentation - Ethical Dilemma PowerPoint upload to Week #7
3. Psychology of Aging - Week #5 - Watch any movie or TV series that has Aging or Inter-generational Family Systems and prepare a bio-psychosocial assessment of a primary adult character based on facts of the movie. Now I just need to find something to watch and write about.
