DD has just a tad bit of her mama in her.... wink

She got there at 5:30 this morning and they told her that they have her scheduled for tomorrow. She showed them all of her paperwork, emails and texts confirming Monday the 18th. Evidently the Drs Nurse changed the appt and didn't notify DD.

They said they couldn't take her today. She told them she wasn't going home. They said they didn't have a bed. She told them that was not her problem and that she was not going home.

They found her a room, she's not going home... aww

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating DS's DGF's college graduation. So much fun packed into one weekend did DH and I in!!

The weather is COLD! 33 degrees this morning! Heat is ON!!

We covered all the veggies last night and took to fragile potted plants into the garage. Looks like it will be tomorrow before they see the light of day again.

What should I bake today?

It was 80 and humid on Saturday. We drove thru down pours of rain... Now this. I feel like we live in a yoyo.

I'm no longer allowed to shop or spend money of any kind. We were surprised on Friday with a loan requirement we CANNOT meet in order to be allowed to count rental income for our current house. We have to have 30% equity in the house, which is impossible with the current market. Therefore, we now have to be able to absorb the entire current house payment, plus the entire new house payment, plus 50% of our other rental house payment, in additional to other normal debt - like the car payment and student loan payment.

How many normal working middle class people can basically absorb 3 house payments and keep the debt to income ratio below 50%?

I'm not even allowed to use my credit cards even if I normally pay them off in full b/c the will still show a balance when credit is pulled. So I have to pay off everything possible this month and only use cash. But I have to be carefull with cash because of how much we are required to keep in cash reserves - 6 months of mortgage payments for all 3 houses, plus our down payment.

So, I can't spend money for 6 weeks except food and utilities. This will be horribly difficult.

I'm just PO'd because it was approved telling us all we needed was a lease on the house before we close and they could count the rental income. This new wrinkle should have been disclosed BEFORE.

Yep. Someone did not read all the rules before they pre-approved the loan. So, now, where it was going to easy, it's just a whole lot harder. Grrrrr. I guess the bright side is that now I don't have to have a lease on my current house before I can close. That removes that requirement.

We are at 45% right now. Normally, you have to be at 43% or lower but because our credit scores are high enough, we can go up to 47%.

So you still qualify. That is good. You just need to keep it tight until closing.
