Morning everyone. I think they are calling for afternoon thunder storms. That is pretty typical summer weather here.

Finally stopped raining here. The ground is sopping wet and the lakes are flooded a bit. Nothing scary.

Tonight is the awards assembly, tomorrow is senior dinner and Friday is graduation. I am not ready to say goodbye to some of these kids. Others, I am helping to pack ! Lol.

Seniors are giving away their school dress -- their uniform polos, skirts, etc. DD is scrounging a few new items for next year so we don't have to buy any.

After graduation, DD and her BFF and their 2 friends who are graduating are headed back inside to the one area that is reserved for seniors. It's a red carpet by admissions that only seniors can walk on, underclass men have to get permission to walk on it. Sometimes seniors make underclass men do silly things for permission like sing the fight song, etc. After grad, DD and company will go walk on the red carpet and DD and her BFF will walk on it without asking permission from their friends for the first time. It's silly, but they are so excited.

Possibility of storms here this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. So far, it is dry and sunny. We need the rain. Not like some areas, but we need the rain. I hope some of you dry out.

Work day for me. Mom left yesterday and my house was blissfully quiet last night. But it is not an easy day for me. Got a call already from hospital on where to send MIL for rehab. I will gather info but it is her and her children's decision. I am not going to make it for them. I will recommend places. Nevermind that. MIL just made her decision.

Still need to stop at her house, and visit her at hospital after work. Somewhere in there, I need to finish homework..

This reminds me of something that happened when the boys were babies. #2 was asleep in his crib in the nursery. I decided to move #1's crib mattress into what was to become the boys bedroom down the hall. I asked Mr. FNW to get the mattress, quietly, out of the nursery crib. Well....he lifted it up and smacked it into the ceiling light, breaking the glass fixture, sending broken glass all around #2 who was sleeping. It's a miracle that none of the glass cut him, they were all around him in his crib. Large pieces, too, that would have really cut him bad. I was so pissed. And scared.

I don't think he ever woke up though, even when we ran the vacuum to clean it all up.

Yes, I have seen St. Vincent. Sheesh, I keep telling you I'm a movie whore. I loved it. Funny, cute, sad. I can't really say much without spoiling it. Bill Murray's "girlfriend" is a hoot. I love Melissa McCarthy. I don't care that she isn't what Hollywood deems the proper weight or size. She is hilarious and I have seen probably everything she is in. She is an excellent actress. So talented. I hope she goes far in her career. I'm dying to see the new movie that is coming out in the theaters about her going under cover.

I do Christmas card exhanges with several peeps and every time they arrive I find myself trying to explain to DH who so and so is...now I just say my on-line friend and he nods and says "okaaaayyyyy."
