A pregnant mother who vanished just hours before she was supposed to deliver her baby by C-section was located six days after her disappearance.
Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther, 49, of Salisbury, North Carolina, was scheduled to welcome a baby daughter last Tuesday after her pregnancy was labelled high risk because of a blood vessel disease that could be fatal during a natural birth.
The nine-months pregnant mother was reported missing that day, and police have just located her roughly 80 miles west in Boone, North Carolina, after she used her ATM card at a CVS.
The mother, who police say 'left of her own accord', was found by Watauga County in western North Carolina around 1.15pm Monday afternoon and taken to a medical center.
Salisbury police told Daily Mail Online that Bradshaw-Crowther was in 'good condition' when she was found and was cooperative with police.

Missing: Bradshaw-Crowther's family was worried that the pregnant mother could die if she goes into labor alone. She did not appear under duress when seen Wednesday on surveillance video in nearby Statesville
'I am Carrie,' she reportedly said when the county police pulled along side her van, according to the Salisbury Post.
Family members had been worried that her baby could be born at any moment and that her medical condition means that 'if she does go into labor she won't make it'.
Her condition, vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, is an inherited disorder that can cause blood vessels, intestines or a woman's uterus to rupture.
Police did not release any information about the baby.
A request for comment from Waauga Medical Center was not immediately returned Monday afternoon.
A cashier at the Boone CVS said that the store had been busy on Monday and that she had been in the store when Bradshaw-Crowther came in around 1pm, but did not remember her.
She could not confirm whether the pregnant woman's ATM card had been used at the pharmacy or general part of the store.
Bradshaw-Crowther was thought to be heading to the Linnvale Gorge area, a part of western North Carolina that had 'sentimental' for her, according to police.
Her older daughter Lauren Lusk was supposed to go with her mother to the hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina for the C-section but decided to go out for gas before they made the 45-minute drive from Salisbury.

Drove away: Bradshaw-Crowther was driving a champagne-colored 2001 Mazda MPV van with the Kansas plates QKP 711 when she left home last Tuesday
WHAT IS VASCULAR EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME?
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a disorder that affects the connective tissues in the body that connect muscles, skin and ligaments.
Sufferers inherit the rare disease, for which there is no cure, from their parents and have chronic pain due to problems with their collagen.
Vascular Ehlers-Danlos, which affects roughly 1 in 250,000 people, is the most serious form, according to a foundation for the disorder.
Those with the vascular form often have thin skin, with the spontaneous rupture of blood vessels, intestines or a woman's uterus possibly in mid-life.
Ruptures are of particular concern during pregnancy, and hysterectomies are often performed for women with Ehlers-Danlos after a birth.
A study in Medscape found that there was a 12 per cent risk of death from a ruptured artery or uterus during childbirth.
Pregnant women with EDS, who suffer from increased miscarriage rates, also face more difficulty receiving anesthesia during labor because of loose ligaments and abnormal skeletal structures.
'We were gone about seven or eight minutes,' Lusk said. 'When we got back she was gone. Nothing was missing, she was just gone.'
Her mother was next seen on the surveillance video in a blue jacket with her hair braided, and does not appear to be under any form of duress despite the potential dangers of the upcoming birth.
Captain Sheila Lingle of the Salisbury Police Department says that the mother was not kidnapped and that she 'left of her own accord'.
The house was unlocked and the lights were off when she came home after getting gas, Lusk told WSOC.
Her mother's purse and makeup were still at home, but her cellphone and wallet were gone.
Bradshaw-Crowther is believed to have left in her champagne-colored 2001 Mazda MPV van with the Kansas plates QKP 711.
'It was 6 and we were supposed to be at the hospital. That's when I knew there was something to worry about,' Lusk said.

Spotted: The mother was seen at the Brookwood Inn in Statesville, North Carolina, on the night of her disappearance
Lusk, who lives in Kansas but is staying in North Carolina, previously said she had no idea why her mother would have left and turned off her phone.
She said that her main worries come from fears about health problems that her mother could face alone.
Lusk said the baby's father had also not heard from Bradshaw-Crowther.
The daughter said that her mother was 'excited' about giving birth and had planned on calling the new child Olivia Grace, according to WRAL.
On Facebook, Lusk had thanked friends for their kind words as she called the experience 'a traumatic time for my family and I'.
If she is fine and the baby is fine, why is it a big deal?

The fact she had a name for the little girl doesn't sound like she was planning on giving up the baby. It is so weird that she ran off like that. I wonder if she had some mental break down or freak out moment.
Maybe she likes being pregnant and wasn't ready for the C-section mentally. If this is her first C-section, I can understand, but the health of the baby should come first at this stage of the game.
It seems like an odd story though.
