Wayne figures it must have been written by a 12 year old.

He couldn't take the stupidity, so he left. And looked around in some stores.

The kids stuck it out.

They hated it so much, they were hoping the dinosaurs would eat the little kids in the end.

I took my walk. 2.5 miles in 42 minutes. I'll have to add on to my route tomorrow. Try to make it closer to an hour.

Off to the shower with me. I smell like a goat.

Then, off to the nursery to get more plants and hopefully some trees. smile

Got home from party at 2am. Spent the last few hours dealing with drunk drama. Two drunk, really drunk females going over and over a situation and getting madder and madder and drinking more and more....sigh. Just reinforces why I'm not a big drinker. I was so happy to get home to my quiet calm house.

The team DD is playing with made it to the finals of the tourney they are in. So game time at 3pm and it should be about 80 outside!

Other than that, today I just want to relax and maybe get some laundry done when we get home later tonight.

My kids loved Jurassic World. Said it feel in line with the first three, even paid homage to them by going back to Jurassic Park at one point. Guess it's one of those movies like Star Wars, you either love it or hate it.

Having a chicken sausage biscuit. Usually it's pretty good. But man, did they spice it up this time.

The sausage comes for the local butchers market. He makes it himself. Sometimes you get some though and wonder who he was mad at when made it.

SB, glad you removed yourself from that situation. Always a bummer when someone ruins a party like that.

I've mowed the lawn, weed wacked, and blew all the clippings off the walk way and driveway. I even did some weeding. I have more weeding to do but that is for another day. Just going to hang this afternoon. DD's BFF is having her bday party today, she lives across the street so I may go over for a bit.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Got another lazy, late start today. Finished watching Grace and Frankie last night. Not a bad series, story was not bad but certain parts of the acting was not good. Let me rephrase that, it was good actors with bad "overacting" scenes.

Went out for brunch to a new place. Good food but not worth the money. Went to a nursery to look for climbing rose bushes for DH. Could not find what he wants there or at Home Depot or Lowes. Got Rita's water ice on the way home.

Time for a nap.

My neighbor gave me 6 tomato plants so I planted them. I did so in pots one the deck. We shall see how they do.

I got my lemon tree and my lime tree planted in their pots.

I got a Mandevilla for the trellis beside the garage.

I got more herbs planted in my other raised planter.

I'm pooped.

Currently it is 85 here with very high humidity but feels like 90. The breezes are very light, and I am sitting at home with the fan blasting, and perspiring quite a bit. I need to do some grocery shopping but do not want to brave the heat while crutching to the store. I have a few snacks lying around, so will just do that until I can get to the market. Also have had a headache for a week, but no neurological deficits, so I think it may be due to my head being positioned incorrectly when I sleep. Advil does not even touch it, but I am used to handling a lot of pain, so hopefully it will abate in a few more days. biggrin

I just bought my first Smartphone! Now I understand why people walk around glued to their phones. It is fun.

It even has a pedometer so I can record my steps. Woot!

Kind of a cross between shaved ice and a slurpee made with real fruit added. A gelato is water ice with custard on top. I had wild black cherry with vanila custard.

I thought I would have a hard time learning it. It's an iPhone 6. But I practiced a bit on DH's before buying this. Doing fairly well.

Now I can actually communicate with my adult children, instead of them texting DH and he relays the message to me.

Now I just have to figure out how to get on to TG on the phone.

I got use to it. My laptop is slower than molasses in winter. The iPad capped out. This is what's left.

I am still learning things about it.

Right now, my favorite new app is fotor. It's for making collages and editing pictures. It's fun.

Well get rid of that headache! Seriously, can you put a window a/c in your apt? or bedroom? Just for relief. it was 80's here today but cooled down nicely so no a/c needed for sleeping.

Hey FWM, here's the weird tree type thing growing in my backyard. I actually think this is a mutant sunflower. I think a seed got loose and mated with something. The stalk is about the diameter of a quarter.

I don't think so. On the top it's opening up into a flower. We used to grow sunflowers in pots in that spot. It looks like what the sunflowers looked like.
