Ugh! I'm sorry to hear that! Nothing ruins good, fun summer plans like thunderstorms! I am still holding out hope that it will move through and dry up some before Friday night. Considering the downpour right now, it's not looking likely. Such a shame because the weather is supposed to be nice Saturday!

We have a tour of the Capitol scheduled this weekend and it's supposed to rain. It wouldn't be the first time I was caught out on the Mall in a thunderstorm. We'll just have to be prepared.

Good Morning Geeks! It is a rainy and drizzly morning but supposed to clear up for the afternoon.

I am working today and tomorrow. Bossman needs to be banned form technology. He has been deleting the icons he needs off his desktop. He tried blaming me. Ha! I have not been here in a week.

Got 7 pages of the 20 page PowerPoint done yesterday. I got the overall concept/theory included. Will try to work on it more here today. Now I need to work on the actual observational part of the presentation.

Vacation was fantastic. We went to Dominican Republic to an all inclusive resort. All you can eat and drink with no out of pocket.

That sounds awesome. I have a dream of going to that Atlantis resort someday.

As for the rain, we need it. Not desperate for it but it helps the gardens. And it's so humid.

Today at work boss told us CW that has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for 3 years had resigned and yesterday was her last day. She just has too many bad days now. There really is no hope and it's getting harder to even have quality of life now. She's 53. I've been working with her for 18 years. I misted up a little, and then I looked over at one of the guys who was wiping his eyes and my tears just started coming down. It's just so sad.

Worked with one of our reps who calls on corporate stores today. He is a nice guy, but terribly ineffective at his job. What a bullsh!tter. He makes me job harder but that's ok...I will overcome.

Thanks, SB. The tooth felt funny on Tuesday, called the dentist yesterday and they got me in this morning. I was impressed.

Still have the long haul of getting rid of the infection before the fix. Darmit.
