When the Supreme Court decided to completely trample all over the Tenth Amendment last Friday by ruling same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, none of us expected it could get any worse.
The impact on the nation of that decision is arguably small compared to the SCOTUS did today. Today was not a “decision” per se, it was a refusal to hear an appeal of the 10th Circuit decision against Kansas and Arizona in a voter ID case, Kobach, et al. v. Election Assistance Commission, et al.
Kobach was about the right of states to require proof of citizenship documents to register to vote. SCOTUS decision not to take the appeal means that no citizenship documents are required to register to vote when a person registers using the Federal standardized registration form.
There are actually two unique forms to register to vote. A state form and a federal form. Here in Arizona the state form requires proof of citizenship in order to register. As of now, the federal form does not. Guess what form LaRaza will be using to register new voters, especially in purple Southern Arizona?
It’s becoming more and more obvious that the Supreme Court is no longer the “judicial” branch of government, they have morphed into the “political” branch.
What makes this so much worse than the decision on gay marriage is that it gives corrupt liberal politicians the opportunity to register non-citizens to vote, expanding their voter base and helping them retain power.
As we all know, liberals will do anything to gain more control and authority over the good people of America, including breaking the law, because nothing but their agenda matters. And I do mean nothing.
How much more of this shenanigans needs to happen before Americans wake up and smell the coffee?
The only way the government is going to stop is if we make it stop, and that requires all of us to stand up, united with one voice and tell them we’re not going to take it any more.
Otherwise, if we continue to be apathetic, when we finally do wake up and go to take action it’ll be too late. America will have long ceased to exist.

simply incredible--you no longer need be a citizen to vote in US elections--is there another First World nation on earth that DOES NOT require you be a citizen to vote in a national election ?

Obama promised to FUNDAMENTALLY transform this nation. And he has. America will be unrecognizable. He doesn't care a whit about the sovereignty of our nation and is more than willing to hand this country over lock, stock and barrel.
But by the Supreme Court not hearing the case - it only affects that District. It's still bad, but not nationwide.

Good point, and a valid one, but aren't the states most likely to be affected in a non-citizen voting way to be in that district? I mean I can't see it being a big problem in Montana, Maine, Kansas, or other non-Southern Border states.
