So, as part of his prep, DH has to take a shower tonight using SPECIAL soap, and I have to change the sheets when I get home. He wants me to sleep on the couch so I don't "contaminate" him...LOL
I'm cooking dinner for 30-40 people tonight at church. And I'm working today. I am superwoman!
Did you hire a caterer?
If you didn't, you really are amazing! Go LL!!
Nope. I have 3 crockpots going - I'm making creamed chicken. Then, I'll leave early at 3 and make rice and potatoes when I get home. I bought crossiants rather than making rolls, and last night I made Cucumber dilly salad.

It is shredded chicken in a thick gravy. I'm cooking the chicken breasts on low in cream of chicken soup, garlic, and chicken broth. When it is done, the chicken will fall apart and shred into the gravy. You serve it over potatoes or rice - whatever your preference. It is a really good way to stretch chicken. I can feed up to 8 people on 3-4 chicken breasts.

OK - We serve it over waffles. I love it. We just call it chicken & waffles even though it is nothing like the southern chicken & waffles.

At home we call it chicken slop, but that doesn't go over well as a menu item.

Raging headache bordering on migraine here. I took something but I am waiting for it to really kick in. It took the edge off so that might be the best I can hope for.

No I haven't. I only get about 1-2 migraines a year so I never really pursued it with my doc. It rarely disrupts my life so I don't worry about them. Maybe I should ask her about it though.

It dissolves on your tongue. It doesn't knock you out, which is nice.
I will have to try that creamed chicken. Sounds good.
Hope your hubs surgery is a success and recovery is record breaking.
Have fun Czech.
O4, it sounds like a plan.
MM, hope you head is better soon.
Howdy Trudy, Jlbear71 and Lexxy. And anyone I missed.
Waiting for the rain to start.

I have so much to do today. That's why I'm here. I know. It makes perfect sense.

You totally need to and then post an update every five minutes. Haven't heard anything. Haven't heard anything... lol

The PITA woman upstairs who wanted the heat on when it was 65 degrees out...she and her family are moving out today! Her DH got a job elsewhere (because my DH was going to fire him) and today is their move out day! I can't express how excited I am. She has done nothing but post about how miserable she is here, how this is such a small hick town without culture etc. Of course she won't leave the house to actually enjoy any of the things there are to do or drive 20 minutes to the next town which is overflowing with culture because she "has a toddler". Like she is the first person to ever procreate and leave the house with a child. Her DH has been getting paid for 2 moths while he did absolutely nothing (didn't even put face time in at the office) for the school and he has been working at his next job already - and all she does is complain about him not being home.
Ding dong the witch is dead! Time to block her from FB and get that negativity out of our lives!

Well, YOU'RE no help...LOL
The last time, I was so stupid. They said the surgery would be 6 hours...Time came & passed & I sat there & imagined the worst. Why didn't I just walk up to the desk and ASK?!
Flan, I am sure you have mentioned it, probably more than once but I can't remember what type of surgery your DH is having.
Back I think! Oh heck. I could be wrong. Didn't he have shoulder surgery last time?

Still no obvious reason for the hives and rash. On steroids now. And maybe see an allergist after I see my PCP.
Today is another beautiful day out but there are supposed to be storms rolling in later. I am working a little and trying to get some school work in. I have decided to be the humorous and sarcastic student in my health class. It is so designed for someone who is 18-20 years old and innocent. I am neither. Hope the professor has a sense of humor.
Positive healing thoughts for Flan's DH.
Chicken & gravy sounds good. I always add some mixed vegetables to it. Girl time is good, playing with babies, migraines suck, and bad neighbors leaving.
