A Pennsylvania man was arrested after allegedly travelling to Arizona to have sex with a horse.
Michael Crawford, 68, made his way to Phoenix where he was under the impression he would be meeting a horse owner who he had met online after posting an advert soliciting a willing owner, authorities said.
He believed the owner, who was actually undercover detectives, would then let him engage in 'perverted' sex acts with an animal, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.

Detectives from the Maricopa County Sheriff's office animal crimes unit had become suspicious after seeing Crawford's ad online and launched the investigation last October, The Arizona Republic reported.
Investigators exchanged e-mails and phone calls with Crawford which also included him graphically detailing what he planned to do when he arrived in Arizona.
Arpaio said Crawford also told detectives he had been traveling around the country engaging in acts of bestiality since 1970, according to The Arizona Republic.
Prior to Friday night's arrest, Arpaio said Crawford told the undercover deputy that he had bought a non-refundable ticket and would be carrying with him five shirts which he wanted the animal to urinate on, KPHO reported.
Crawford said he would then mail the shirts back to his Pennsylvania home where he had planned to wear them for 'arousal purposes', Arpaio said.
On Friday, when Crawford arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, he was met by undercover deputies who took him to a trailer where he was met by a posse volunteer.
