Mais oui! How are the fires doing out west? Any end in sight?
Today's count was up over/near 200 fires, but apparently only 17 are causing trouble. The air down here is better - we couldn't see the sky for almost a week! Apparently northern Saskatchewan is in trouble right now!
Yeah, I hear it's been really bad this year.
On the east coast it's been wet and cold, cold, cold. A T-Rex of a winter, with temps in the minus 30s for weeks on end, and now a cold summer. I had the heat on in the beginning of July! It sucks. I haven't even been up to the lake-house much. Too cold to do much of anything.

Ewww! That's terrible! We've been having such a heatwave out here. Hopefully we won't get killed this winter to balance the scales. I hate cold.
It's been nothing but extreme weather, breaking record after record. Hundreds of fires out west: 120 in Saskatchewan alone. Today, another deluge in Manitoba that dumped a month's worth of rain in 24 hours. Cold, cold in the east.
They say it's our new normal and we should get used to it. I hope not.
I went clothes shopping the other day. All the summer stuff is gone. Even online. They're not reordering because they're getting ready for fall. We haven't even hit the highs of summer yet.
