I don't understand why he was given an award for courage.

 Uhhh, paid maternity leave is up to the employers here.  Higher education is not paid for by taxpayers, here.  Part of the issue here is mindset - socialist vs. not.  I actually do not want my tax dollars to go to most of what you talk about.  That's not what taxes should be for.  Taxes should be for police, fire, and basic education.  Almost all the rest should be paid for based upon individual policies - not by the government.

IMHO, Husker is not picking on YOU, he's just doing what he usually does: Deliberately misread what people have said, or create something out of nothing, so he can say that other people are stupid or ignorant or worse. 

That's his game, that's what makes him feel superior, his ability to get people to try to defend themselves. And when people respond, that just gives him ammunition.

I don't have a problem with him having a sex change operation... whatever. And I think in the US that counts as elective surgery so probably isn't covered by insurance. And he is in the public eye, for whatever reason. I'm not sure why the rest of that clan is in the media either, so whatever.

But I also don't get all the acclaim and awards for being courageous. Surely their are athletes who have worked courageously to overcome sports related injuries ...

This thread is about Caitlyn. I addressed the comment that she had bucketloads of money to pay for the surgery. Here, you don't need to have extra money, because it's covered and I'm OK with that.
