Since servicemen cannot carry weapons, the good ole boys in my town have decided that since THEY have the right to carry weapons, they will protect them.

Here is the first shift at the office down the street (I did not take the picture)

Yeah, this is great. Kind of like preventative maintenance.... Hope the idea catches on around the country.

It will, unfortunately so many states have pretty much outlawed guns that those state's residents will not be able to protect our military.

That will make the next civil war easier to win for the south.  wink

How messed up is it that the civilians need to protect the military?

Our state announced this morning that recruitment stations will be armed.

Gotta love my state!

I need to get a handgun. What should I get? I was thinking of Smith and Wesson .38 special revolver. I like revolvers. I can't **** those glock type guns.

smiths are great guns--simple / reliable--if you're going to carry a revolver, would look at a snubnose .38--available in hammerless models--super-quick on target and easy to handle--and take a CCL course, more for how to use the weapon once you've drawn it vs just what's legally required to carry

I have a 9MM glock. They come in a style with smaller handles for us "fragile, small gals" LOL. The glock has several options for the handle.

I always wanted a S&W just so I could re-enact Clint Eastwood's scene in Dirty Harry!

Our janitors protected our office building with their personal firearms during the L.A. riots.

I agree with what they are doing. If the government won't let our Military protect themselves on US Soil, I approve of citizens protecting our military.

well, grew-up with 45s and have owned them my whole life--have owned / own several revolvers but for my personal sidearm, am most comfortable / proficient with a 1911--got my lady a browning 9mm / 15rd that's easy to shoot / accurate and reasonably powerful

We have a few different guns. Some for hunting, some inherited, some collected.

I think my brothers hunting bow is in the building out here too.

Ours has done the same. I want to say your state makes 7 to have a similar order. Should be many, many more.
