I'm going to try to find Snooki. (yes, I AM that person, I get so starstruck!). And THEN, (pay attention here), I'm going to get an ice cream cone and eat it on the boardwalk. Cause that's what Tony Soprano did...

If it wasn't a Friday, I would meet you in AC. Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings are horrible with traffic. I miss spending the night in AC. I only go when they send me free nights at the casinos.

Well, today will start the new meds for the hives. Supposed to take them at night since they make you really tired. We shall see.

School work to be done. Three load of laundry and maybe steaming the floors. Leftovers for dinner.

Today I am going to pack for vacation - or at least make a pile of the clothes I am taking. We have been planning this trip for over a year and we are finally almost there !

I have to scrounge around for boxes too so I can finish packing. We have a lot of books and it's difficult to get the right size boxes to ensure they aren't too heavy. The boxes paper comes in are perfect - but I don't have access to any of those. I am headed to the school office to see if they have any hanging around.

Also headed to the storage space we rent to get it ready. We will be moving most of the stuff out of there and into the new place. I want to make sure all the "stuff" is separated from the furniture so we can get it out quickly. It could be hot when we move and I don't want they guys to have to hang out while I dig through it.

Not a lot of summer left over. Proctors move back in on August 22! I can't wait - I miss our kids. We have over 250 summer campers here now and they are obnoxious jerks. Our kids are much better behaved.

Morning everyone. I was talking to a friend last night who told me my ex just had surgery to remove a brain tumor & he wasn't doing all that well & he thinks I should reach out to him. I went poking around online to see if I could find any contact info & came across his LinkedIn account. It is so full of BS. I know everyone pads their resume but he listed a 4 year college degree when I know he didn't even finish HS. It brought back to me how he could spin anything to his advantage. I am feeling much less charitable towards him now.

Hi all. I have NOTHING planned for today and I'm so glad. I need to do a load or two of laundry though. DN and Sparkly are finally in their apartment together and have all their furniture in. DN wants SS to spend the night tonight and go swimming. She says they have a teeny tiny little four foot pool. She said the other day a lady was out there floating on her floating chair and it took up the whole pool. Apparently that's how small it is. Saturday she had invited us over for dinner. It's a first! Maybe I should put that on the proud thread. They're making US dinner for the first time.

In other news, I hope my marriage survives this election... j/k I'll be so glad when it's over.

So I listened to you nagging geeks. I had some whipping cream in my fridge. I added some cinnamon and vanilla to it. I'm going to try that in my coffee. I refuse to add in a can of sweetened condensed milk though.

I needed to go get some cash for the trip. Went to my bank downtown, the lot was full, there's only 6 spots and there wasn't any parking anywhere on the street or the marina. Thanks water festival. SO I decide to go to the other branch that is a few miles away. I fight traffic, cross the bridge, turn into the lot, go around to the back where he ATM is. It's gone. Huh? So I look up at the regular drive through teller windows. Blinds are pulled. It's 2 pm. Drive back around front. Bank signs are gone! So now my bank has one local branch. I guess I will spend $3 somewhere to use another ATM.

DD's team lost in the semi finals. She is exhausted and ready to come home. It sounds like she had a really great time, but is ready to come home. I pick her up on Sunday night. I can't wait!

You should have just gone to your local grocery store, buy something small and do cash back! no fee.

Then I would not have been able meet you today unless you are flying into Philly. I thought you were driving in. I am not used to people flying to AC sine it is only an hour and a half drive from here.
