I'm up. I have to go to a School Board retreat today. Not really up for that. I already spend a lot of time with them. I would rather go biking with DD.

Sunny, summer Sunday morning! supposed to be a little more humid today but still not too bad.

I'm up after sleeping for about 9 hours and still feel like I could sleep more. Med for the hives makes me tired but it is working.

Need to make my replies for school work discussion boards. I really need to understand my one class that I feel like I am struggling in. I may sit outside in the hammock and reread the book what we have done so far as well as what is coming up for this week. I don't think I will ever do three abbreviated classes in the summer again. This is too much. But I will not give up or give in. Forward is the only option if I want a December graduation, which is a must so I can start working full time in January.

I also remember to have some fun too so I don't get too stressed/burned out. We went out to dinner last night then came home and watched a Rodney Carrington comedy special. Then fell asleep on DH. I am thinking of heading out to the Asian market to get some more fresh veggies to add to what we have for a homemade loaded veggie soup/stew. I have carrots (store bought), green beans, peppers, snow peas, zuchinni and yellow squash. My tomatoes are not ready yet and something, i think a squirrel, it taking bites out of the green tomatoes. Thinking about getting mushrooms, spinach or other soup greens and anything else that looks good. I have some homemade vegetable broth in the freezer that I need to thaw.

Went to Church this morning with my dd and her family. Got to play on the playground with my now 3 yr old go and cuddled with my grandbaby. It was a fun sunday. It is nighttime here.

Sounds like a perfect day! So glad you got to enjoy those babies!

Today I head to the airport to pick up DD! ☺️ I have the house mostly cleaned before hurricane DD comes through and I have made her fave meal and put it in the fridge. She doesnt think I have bothered so she will be surprised. DH is spending the day trying to get back on the right sleep schedule and returning some of his billion emails that he needs to for work.

True. Caitlyn will be 21 in a couple months. She still comes and gets on my bed at night and tells me all about everything.

It finally fell apart.

I saw one in an antique store not long after that. They wanted $20 bucks for it.

Spent a frustrating morning with DS at U Haul, 3 of them. He had reserved a 20 ft truck and a trailer for one of his cars. Guess what? U Haul screwed up many times over, finally got the truck two hours later and 3 UHaul places later, he is on his way right now to get the trailer in a city about 15 miles away. Helped him finish up some last minute packing and packed up all his flat screens. He is exhausted and me too! He drives out to OH tomorrow, arriving probably late Tuesday. He then unloads into a storage area and flies back to get his other car and drive back out. What a nightmare! He will spend next weekend town house hunting.

I have found that a u-haul reservation is as good as the paper it is written on. They will also try to upsell you any way they can. I found that Enterprise Truck rental was a much better way to go if you have one around you.

What about those pods things? They bring it to you, you fill it up, they drive it.

I don't know if they carry cars though.

The problem is exactly that. Since he is doing a on way rental finding other rental companies is difficult. The U Haul near me was wonderful and really helped him out. i haven't heard from him so I assume he is all set with the trailer now. It just made for a frustrating day when things were already frustrating.

Pricey. Plus he needs to unload directly into a storage unit, he doesn't have a place to live yet.

I have never used either. I think my brother used Uhaul. It was almost 15 yrs ago. I can really remember.

I took Bunny to the grocery store with me. Then I cooked a bunch of stuff. I doubled my crockpot sesame chicken recipe for the first time, it was extra good and I have enough left for 4 lunches!
We've been watching Good Eats on Netflix, I kept saying I need one of those things and I want that!
I know I will be making a trip to the fancy kitchen stuff store soon.

Thanks NAOW. We have been so busy this summer. I will miss him more than I realize but I am really looking forward to some down time. I still have SS for awhile though.
