Should a new Mod being using the word "gross"? Shouldn't you be all perky?

It is beautiful here. Little humidity and sunny. Very nice after a long run of hot and humid weather.

We got a call from the school system this morning. Apparently, there were threats made against the school system on Facebook so the entire police department, along with the neighboring town's police department were up all night inspecting every single school to make sure the buildings are safe.

Good grief, LL. What is the world coming too! I hope they catch the jerks that put a scare into everyone via facebook.

Washing tablecloths and curtains this morning. Next will be all the throw blankets that end up on the living room floor.

My house hasn't been this clean since Christmas.  hmm

Working from home today while #2 recuperates from yesterday's accident. And watching the landscapers put the finishing touch (mulch) on the 4 day project.

Morning everyone. I am having a good work day. I had an account I worked on for months & then it seemed to fall apart & I never heard another word from the client. I assumed they found another agent. It turns out they got busy with contracts & just put the insurance issues on the back burner & called today to get the ball rolling again. Yay!

FNW, what happened to #2? I must have missed it.

That's great Lexxy!

I hope #2 feels better soon FWM. I can't wait to see pictures of the work done either!

We have DD's last swimming lesson of the summer today. It's been two week sessions back to back all summer, and I am not impressed with this session's instructor. I went into thinking she would have passed this level during this session because she was doing so well, but now she seems like she is doing worse than when it started.

I don't know what else we are doing today. I'm going to have DD to her chores, she has gotten pretty lax about them this summer. If it's not too hot we might head to the park or out for a walk later.

Me, too. I'm glad it was just his chin though and not worse.

The boys are part of a NICU study where they are evaluated against children born full term. They recently underwent their 6 year evaluation. #1 scored in the 63rd percentile for balance, whereas #2 scored in the 25th. Definitely would explain his propensity to fall and get injured more.

I can feel for him. I'm on the klutzy side myself. I've never been evaluated but I'm sure I'm below the 50% mark.

Well, after two knee surgeries my balance is shot.  They used to make me stand on the memory foam pillow at PT to see how long I could stand on just my bad leg.  It was like a second or two without losing my balance.  On the non operated knee I have more balance.  It's steadily decreasing too.

I'm trying to eat lunch with a toddler hanging off one arm. He has an identical lunch but mine is better of course since it's on my plate.

We're watching That Thing You Do. He gets up and dances during the music scenes.

I want to go swimming but it's cloudy today and I don't know if the pool will be hot enough.

For a while, when my kids were little, I didn't even bother getting another plate dirty. I fed them off my plate and let them eat from it. It was a battle I chose not to fight.

I don't care that DS shares my food. I think it's funny that he must have my food even though his is identical to mine.

We give him his own plate so he can learn to feed himself and eat independently.

Not too bad of a day today. It was a work day but a short one.

Finally got some non-answer answers for the hives from an immunologist today. At a same day appointment, no less. It seems that I have Idiopathic chronic urticaria (hives that last more than 6 weeks even tho I just started week 5) that can last up to two years evileye. Sometimes it just happens to women of my age who are ending their child bearing years (Yea?!?). We are forming a treatment plan of a once-a-month shot but it involves pre-auth, pre-cert from the insurance company since it costs $1,200/shot.

Other than that, quiet and busy day.  I have two projects for school that are due tonight.  I only have one two-thirds of the way done.  DH already knows he is cooking dinner and cleaning up after.

DSS called and wants to upgrade his cell phone.  He needs me to add him as an account manager.  Not very happy over that one.  Told him I really don't want anything added to the bill, if at all possible.  If he wants a smartphone, he needs to pay for any upgrades to the plan we have.  I wish he and DIL would get their own plan (DIL is still on her parents) but this is definitely cheaper for both of them.  Of course he wanted me to add him right then because they were at the store.  I was on my way home from Dr appt and still had almost an hour in the car yet.

Sorry dude, I am not just giving you complete access to the cell account.  Even DH does not have that.  DSS and DH have the same name so we never added DH as authorized to any of accounts that could screw up credit info because of BSC ex-wife.  BSCEW took DH's info more than once to illegaly open credit or change things.  I still won't take that chance.

jlbear, I'm glad you got some answers. I have a skin condition that's very unusual. It has a name but I started having problems at 13 and I was about 45 before I finally got it diagnosed. I remember how good it felt to have a name for it and not think I was just this weirdo anymore.

I so understand about the cell phone thing. My DS is always wanting a new phone. We won't give him authorization for the bill either. So he always has to go through us to get something new.

Well I'm glad that you sort of got some answers. Good luck getting projects done. I wouldn't recommend letting DS have account manager, that would give him access to upgrade phones as he wanted. I know with Sprint it's an extra $10 a month just to have a smart phone. Also, with a smart phone comes data usage amounts.

I did give DSS access to the account. He knows better than to screw with me because I will turn off his phone so fast if he did. It's under my SSN. He will pay for any charges beyond the basic unlimited phone/text per month which is $20. We pay for that as his birthday present every year.

If his current phone wasn't five years old and almost dead, I would wait until we went up there for Labor Day weekend. He is a four hour drive away.

The second one is a onsie with pants and a little jacket. It comes with a bib, two different hats, shoes, socks, mitts, and a hair bow. The pink romper has two different pairs of shoes, two hair bows, socks, socks, a hat, and mitts.

Ok so tomorrow is my Friday off, but working in the morning to get stuff done for when I return from vaca. Then have a bunch of errands to run. We are leaving Saturday for the cottage. I grew a pair overnight and told my supervisor that the transition into my new job was crap, and on him and that I have no internet connection where I was vacationing and so wouldn't be doing a working vaca. felt good. He agreed.

Ugh! Stupid summer colds. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and I still have a sore throat lingering. All other symptoms gone, why won't it go away?! I just want to feel better.

Sore throat holds on that long, you should probably see a doctor. Strep can linger.

No fever, no white spots. I had it with my cold, the cold symptoms are gone and the sore throat is staying. Glands aren't swollen anymore either. It's weird.

Caitlyn would do that. She's a carrier. Even after tonsils came out.

Oh and then there was the staph infection in her throat. That got treated like strep for over a year before I got a doctor who actually cultured a sample.

That one still makes me mad.
