I love Carson. I would gladly vote for him. I've seen his life story movie and admire him. But he's far to gentle in this race. He needs to step it up and start fighting. Fight hard dude! Fight like you WANT it!

Trump is not doing nearly as well as I thought he would do. He is not on his A game today. He doesn't look as polished as some of the others.

I wish these guys could answer a damn question. They ask them yes or no questions and the candidates go all off on other directions.

Trump did not have a good debate. He went after Megyn Kelly who conservatives generally love. He was combative with the other candidates. He was bombastic in saying things like he wants to make America number one, but he never really put forth specific policy initiatives he would pursue to do that.

I like trump, and like one of the pundits said, his supporters will think he did well and still support him, but he probably didn't pick up much additional support outside of his base.

If there was a "winner" of the debate, it was probably Ted Cruz. Scott Walker also did well. Surprisingly, so did Christie, but he was never attacked where it hurts--his record of corruption.

The only people that really didn't do anything for me were Jeb Bush, Walker and Rand. I thought everyone else was pretty solid and on point. Huckabee and Kasich moved up in my eyes. Trump was Trump and for the 1st hour, I loved him. Me and my SO were literally side-splitting laughing when he spoke... in a good way. He got soft towards the end, and his closing comments were meh. All in all, I thought it was a great debate!
