It allows parents to see their child before it's brought into the world, and the scans end up being cherished keepsakes. But what do you do if you see that your little angel doesn't exactly look like, well, an angel.
For two parents-to-be, their ultrasound experience was spoiled as soon as they saw the image of their unborn child. Reddit user "_ItsAllRelative" recently posted an image titled, "Wife and I went to get a '4D' ultrasound of our unborn child. Saw this picture. Changed our minds."
The photo shows a collage of 4D ultrasound images pinned to a cork board. Two of the images resemble standard scans—but the image in the middle is quite startling. The baby's face, which is likely distorted by the grainy image quality, looks borderline demonic. The child's eyes are completely white as it gives off an evil smirk. Yikes!
In less than 24 hours, the photo exploded online with over 529,000 views and hundreds of comments already. One Redditor even commented, "Is there such a thing as a prenatal exorcism?"
All jokes aside, chances are the image quality and the baby's positioning resulted in the memorable scan. Either way, it's safe to say those parents are going to have quite the handful. Good luck!
