Ok so my dog may have blood in his stool, not sure. But it looks as though he has some when he goes. What is that? Causes it? I'm not too concerned unless it happens again.

Bright red would be very close to the exit. It could be a fisher or tear.
If it is dark then it is more from the intestines and could be a problem.
Once, I wouldn't think much about it.
If it happens again, I'd be concerned.
Also, make sure it isn't food coloring. Cause that can happen too.

It may be something or it may be nothing. I guess it depends on how much vet care you are willing to pay for as well. YOu could take your dog in for testing and go from there.
However, if your dog seems fine otherwise, then it is probably just something he ate that might have stirred things up a bit. Probably nothing to worry about.
Glad to hear his poop was not in technicolor today!
Our vet will take a stool sample at any time and test it without charging for an office visit, just charging for the lab work. Maybe your get would do the same? Just a thought for the future.
Aksel's poop tends to either be full of fuzz from the toys he destroys or else he poops and it gets stuck in the dangle stage because he has DD's long hair in there somehow. Looks like it's hanging on an invisible wire. He just turns and looks at me and I have to grab the hair and slowly pull it out while he is mortified. So I feel your pain in the "what has my life become" department. Lol 💩

He just had his annual two months ago, poo inspected, test results came back clear. So thinking about that really makes me believe there was a short term issue, nothing to worry about. If it does happen again, I will bring that stinky sample to the Vet.
Sonny also poos with toy fuzz and long hair coming out. Oh the site my neighbors have of me early in the am in my PJ's pulling poo and hair from his butt.

When Layla ate a $200 pair of cowboy boots of DN's she pooped blood for a few days. The vet said it was from the tanning chemicals in the leather.
